  6. Here are three old videos I made using LockOn and Sony Vegas. The idea was to use real audio, and try to make it look like HUD tapes. Hope you enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsQRl3hyRlM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnR3W41pIzE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xft1HtgDZ8 Regards, Diego EDIT: No idea how to inbed youtube videos
  7. Canopy actuators now have sound! It's so beautiful!
  8. All I can say is the website doesn't do the aviation program justice. Go to the website, click Directory, search Hamilton, and call that guy, Col. Hamilton. He will tell you everything the website doesn't Best of luck! Diego
  9. I sure am. It's a great place to get a business/aviation 4 year degree, whether it be in flight, atc, logistics, or the other that I forgot. As far as aerospace engineering...one of my instructors was the last crew to be trained for the SR-71, flew B-1B's, B-52G's, and was a T-38A IP...another flew F-15(A/B/C/D/E) along with F/A-18(A/B/C/D)...the head of the school flew Phantoms in Vietnam...our AMT department head was a mechanic for the T-birds and Marine 1...hmm what else...we are currently doing projects with NASA, Lockheed (which will be tested at Edwards AFB). I could go on. The best example I can give you is that one of our previous students is currently flying F-22's......yea...wow! Where are you located? Maybe we can schedule a tour. We will have a booth at Sun N' Fun along with EAA Airventure this year. Regards, Diego
  10. Thanks guys, Here are the three photos that were rejected: I was most surprised by the Harrier not being accepted. Regards, Diego
  11. lol, there are exceptions. When uploading a photo, you have the option of checking an "urgent/important" status box. This makes the photo priority for the flaggers. So when something important comes out, say ta photo of the first F-35C Carrier Landing, the guys sifting through photos will see that photo at the top, read why it is important, and deal with it first. Regards, Diego
  12. They have a very long list of reasons a photo may be rejected. Here is the list: http://www.airliners.net/faq/rejection_reasons.php The worst part is it takes about 2 weeks for them to process your photo, all the more reason I'm excited about my first one getting through the men with magnifying eyes. Regards, Diego
  13. After getting 3 photos rejected, I finally got a photo published over at airliners.net: Link to larger size is here: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Fairchild-Republic-A-10A/1882481/L/&sid=b995a7769f6918720e64eb83b72982fe Here are two that are currently in queue: Hope you enjoy it, and hopefully more are to come. Regards, Diego
  14. I'm ready to fly whenever you are.
  15. Thanks for the invite guys. I'm really just looking for a single person to fly around with, so we can talk prior to the mission what we're going to do, etc. Ha I know, if you look at it out of context it's really bad! Diego
  16. Well, killing every f*cking thing that they parked in a revet alone is getting kind of old. I am well versed with DCS A-10C, a real world pilot, and looking for someone to fly online with, like right now lol. Reply here or PM me Regards, Diego
  17. Took this a few years ago
  18. http://www.apacheclips.com/media/29779/Airstrikes_near_Umm_Qasr_Iraq_FLIR/ gay music, but still awesome
  19. Is there a certain time when runway lights come on? I usually fly at 12 in the afternoon. Are they piloe controlled like in the states? 7 clicks etc? Regards, Diego
  20. yea, I just set up a mission with a few tanks in a small town...impossible to find them. Had to get on the deck and let them shoot me so I could get a beam on them lol
  21. lol so gents, x86 is 32 or 64 ;) lol
  22. ha thanks for the response guys, looks like I've been using 64 bit all along, and track-ir seems to be working fine :) Thanks again, Diego P.S. I should be ashamed for asking...my dad is an engineer for HP (works on servers)
  23. Hey guys. I have Win7-64bit, and have been playing with the 32 bit version, and all seems great. She's very smooth. What advantages, if any, would playing in 64bit have. Have any of you noticed a difference? Also, exactly which icon is the 64bit version, I have been using the one with the numbers (86 I think, not sure as I'm not on the PC) I know if I do 64 I'll have to update track-ir, is there anything else I should look into? Will I have to reconfigure the settings/controls? Many thanks, Diego
  24. lol sparrow...
