  3. Very close to where I am!
  4. It is just another level of SA (situational awareness) that you have to be...aware of to be frank. Always know where your Targeting Pod is, where it is looking, and your reference to the target. Keep these things in mind when orbiting.
  5. Interesting topic...A-7 Nuclear Delivery
  6. Here are two quick shots I took. If I get a good enough response, I may post more :) Regards, Diego

  8. trade for a USAF HGU-55/P with MBU-12/P mask?
  9. Hey guys, I'd like to trade my USAF HGU-55/P with MBU-12/P mask for a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog setup. My Cougar setup just died, and I have gotten a new helmet to replace the one I am wanting to trade. Email me if interested and I can send photos. dmenendez88@gmail.com Regards, Diego
  10. Exactly. And that's exactly what they did. CCIP, release all 6, get the hell out of there and get a BDA when the war is over. No sense in sticking around.
  11. Keep in mind that in Desert Storm there were hundreds of AAA batteries, dozens of SAM batteries, etc. The way we play DCS A-10C is very different from real life. In the sim, we make multiple passes on a single unit of tanks, etc. In real life, a 4 ship goes out with 6 MK-82's, drops all 6 from high altitude to avoid the threats, and RTB as fast as they can. And yes, the targets being attacked were indeed tanks and other vehicles. Read a few books about A-10 operations in Desert Storm and you'll understand what I am saying.
  12. That's how they did it in Desert Storm. Regards, Diego
  13. I've had no problem whatsoever plinking tanks with MK-82's, especially from high altitude. I usually start my dive from 16-20,000 ft. By the time weapons are off, I may be at 12-14,000 ft. Level off around 9-11,000 ft.
  14. Do you have these photos in their original size? I'd love to use them as backgrounds, but my laptops monitor is 1440xsomething haha Regards, Diego
  15. Many thanks Toby, love it
  16. I am looking for a wingman. Add me on skype, menendezdiego
  17. Has anyone made some REAL textures for DCS A-10C? All I see are 'virtual squadron' textures, or fantasy textures. Can anyone point me to some real world textures? Many thanks, Diego
  18. I do a lot of testing for FSX addons, currently testing an F-15E which allows the player to shoot down other aircraft and hit moving targets with GBU-12's...it's not a glorious process like many would suspect. You spend most of your time looking for bugs, and there sure are a lot! I feel the non-testers are lucky, seeing that when they get the product, everything works per manual. In our case, we're constantly having to re-write things! Regards, Diego
  19. The flight model wouldn't be hard. It's simply numbers. What would be hard is creating a simulation environment which duplicates our atmosphere. Regards, Diego
  20. Should have gotten the Warbirdsim's P-51D 'Little Friends' Kicks the pants off the A2A Mustang...for the time being (accusim model coming soon)
  21. Anyone else notice the gun reticle now has two dots? The closer you get, the tighter the dots get. Perhaps stating that the closer the dots, the more accurate? Regards, Diego
  22. So wait, the Hornet is the next DCS aircraft?
  23. very cool How did you get the camera to stay locked onto the A-10C, this reminds me of Tower View in FSX. Would love to do that! Diego
  24. An old B-52 sim on Dos...I was about...4?
