  1. I have a group of P-47's that are assigned as ground attack, and are assigned a bombing point on the ground using the "bombing" perform task from a waypoint. I want them to ignore any interceptor and push the bombing attack as the player flight is the escort and will attack the interceptors. For the life of me I can not get the bombing flight to stop jettisoning their bombs and engaging the interceptors. Here's what I have tried so far... At way point zero set "Reaction to threat" to "No Reaction" At all way points set "Reaction to threat" to "No Reaction" Used a triggered action to set "Reaction to threat" to "No Reaction" Set ROE to "Only designated" The only way I could make them stop jettisoning bombs was an ROE "Weapons Hold" but then they don't do the bombing attack either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I tried this but it does not work for a single player mission. Maybe for multiplayer?? What I did do was create a separate flight for the player with the same waypoints and instruct the player he/she is a wingman. Thanks for the idea though!!
  3. Nope. I checked that, as well as checked to make sure that there wasn't another device with the same binding. I was able to fix it with a complete reinstall from Steam. And when I say complete, I mean killing everything, including the files in the //Users/SavedGames/DCS folder. Of course this meant I had to reset all of my bindings for all my aircraft, but at least the Jug is flyable again. Thanks for the reply!!
  4. This just started happening to me. The trim wheel in the aircraft goes through the motions, but it has no effect on the flight. Was there ever a solution to this?
  5. I have a mission set up where I have a flight of P47's dive bombing a bridge, and a second flight escorting them. I have set the "Bombing" way point a ways out from the target. However when the bombers hit that waypoint the escort just circles at that waypoint, instead of following them to the target. Is this correct escort behavior? And if so, how do I overcome that?
  6. Version 2 is now uploaded. It has you flying as a wingman instead of lead. This makes more sense with the radio calls, and adds the fun of staying in formation. Any feedback on this is welcome as it's my first go at creating a mission. I would love to know any issue you are running into with it as once I get this mission building nailed down I'll start on a campaign. 7. Working on a new version of this where you fly as the wingman. With the custom radio calls that just seems to make more sense. It also avoids the takeoff bug. And most importantly I am going to replace my sound files with the horrible British accent, they are just so wrong!
  8. Bloody brilliant M8!! That is exactly what I needed to make this work!
  9. I have a flight that is attacking a target group and I want the flight to stop that attack once the group reaches less than 50% still alive. Here's how I have set it up and it doesn't seem to work. The flight keeps attacking until all of the units in the target group are dead. ATTACK LOGIC Flight set to CAS At waypoint 8 flight is set to attack the target group. Stop condition is set to when flag 1 is on. STOP LOGIC Trigger = At mission start - Time more than 2 seconds - Flag 1 off Trigger = Once - Target Group alive less that 50% (Target Group) - Flag 1 on I have tested the flag by having it turn on a smoke object once it turns on. It does that so I have to assume that the flag is turning on. However the flight seems to ignore this and just keeps attacking until the target group is 100% destroyed. What am I going wrong here?
  10. In a single player mission, Is there a way to make the player a wingman? Or would you just do this as two separate groups and instruct the player to follow the lead of an AI group?
  11. Just added a new P-47 mission to the mix. It's a ground attack on the port at Calais escorted by 3 mustangs. I've added custom radio calls to add some immersion. Please feel free to grab it, fly it and provide any feedback that can make it better. Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314924/
  12. I am adding them through the "Radio Transmission" action. When I first did this I looked at the .miz file and it looked to small to have added the .wav files. However looking at it now I see that it is larger. I must have looked at it the first time before saving the file I guess. Either way thanks for the reply. I now know that the embed with the .miz file! Thanks again!
  13. I am wondering what is the best practice for sharing a mission with custom audio files for radio transmissions. It doesn't seem that the files are embedded into the mission file so I am assuming there needs to be a specific directory structure that the files need to be in for other users machines to see the correct path to the file. Is it safe to assume that if I create a folder for the mission, and then keep the mission file and the audio file in the root of that folder, I can just zip that folder and share it?
  14. First off I am new to DCS and to the mission editor so this is probably something I am doing wrong. I have set a flight of P-47's to take off and they are starting from the ramp hot. The player is set to the flight lead. When I roll out the AI begin to roll and follow me to the runway. However if I take off they stay parked at the runway and never take off. The solution has been to roll out and wait for them to all taxi behind me and take off first. Then I take off and call for them to rejoin. Is this a bug? Or an I doing something wrong?
  15. Yellow flash frames here as well.
