    yes you can. just set your SPI (by looking at HUD bottom left corner, should read TAD, TGP, MAV or TDC). Then on TAD ensure you see your wingman slew cursor over him, then TMS forward short, then click SEND OSB on TAD. He now has a new tasking with your SPI.

     

    Is it working with AI wingman as well or you are talking in MP environment only?

    Anyway Yesterday i tried the mission for the second time...i was able to shoot at the 2 AAA (maverick), the strela (using markpoints and JDAM over the cloud layer), then called JTAC, but it stopped responding when i tried to answer "ready for remarks and further talking". Wingmen were absolutely useless.

    Destroyed the bunker alone and then crashed into mountains :lol:

    tonight will try again...

    One question regarding this mission: Am I supposed to enter the "scan area" and contact JTAC so that he gives me coordinates to all targets and the bunkers, or am I supposed to first find and take out the SA-9 myself before contacting JTAC and getting the coordinates for the bunkers?

     

    Better to first take out the SA-9, bunkers won't go anywhere :)

     

    I just played the mission for the first time....quite difficult i see (and with dcs a10 TGP is really difficult also in weather conditions).

    I didn't manage to spot the SA-9 (just one AAA)...also the wingman when tasked just ignored meand major problem was that i have no JTAC option in the menu...i am sure that the radio is ok with frequencies and options i just don't have the menu option

    Dear all,

     

    Most of you know we have issues with the StarForce protection for the MiG-21Bis module.

    The primary complaint was that the protection was not flexible enough for the users' hardware and/or software changes.

     

    We took this very seriously, and dedicated our time to work on the fix along with the people on the StarForce team.

     

    Our Starforce patch will be distributed along Eagle Dynamics next DCS World openBeta patch, which should be released by the end of this week.

     

    This is a major patching event for all of us, and it will require your cooperation for a proper and successful execution. In short, in order to save one activation for MiG-21Bis, you will have to deactivate the module BEFORE the DCS 1.5.6 patch is downloaded to your PC. We advise you to do this in next 24 hours.

     

    We have created a guide with detailed instructions that will help you prepare for the incoming patch: please find the attached two identical documents written in English and Russian languages.

     

    Please feel free to distribute them among your friends that are using the MiG-21Bis module.

     

    Note that if you are using DCS World 2.0.5 openAlpha, you do not have to do this at this time. However, when Eagle Dynamics decide to distribute the patch for DCS World 2.0.5 openAlpha, we will distribute the same StarForce patch; thus a simmilar procedure will be required if you do not use any other version.

     

    If you patch 1.5.6 openBeta first after doing the procedure, it is not required again for 2.0.5 openAlpha update.

     

    If there is a 2.0.5 openAlpha update and you update that first ((doing the procedure) before updating 1.5.6 openBeta), then you do not have to do it for 1.5.6 openBeta.

     

    The same as in 1.5.6 stable release. We will do our best to keep you informed in time.

     

    We sincerely appologize for this inconvinience. Our ultimate goal is your satisfaction: there are things we have to do to get there, and there are some thing we have to do together.

     

    We will provide help along the way and we hope this transition will be sucessful. We also hope you will like the fixes we prepared in the next patch.

    New Wheel Stand Pro for Thrustmaster Warthog attachment

    I really want to thank the OP for clueing me up to Wheelstand Pro, as I had been racking my brains for a setup that allowed me to carry out my daily office routines AND have a sim rig I can quickly slide into place and this my friends, is it.

     

    The build quality is amazing, the kit contains every possible plate, screw, bolt or piece you might need to build you're customised set up, they even threw in two quality drop forged spanners!

     

    I ordered on a Friday and the kit arrived Monday morning sharp if I'd ordered on a weekday the delivery would most definitely have been next day.

     

    I love you my perfect leader, I mean Wheelstand Pro!

    This is what you need, the Warthog HOTAS adaptor, essentially a small base plate connected to exactly the same type of quality metal the Wheelstand is made from, you just unscrew the joystick baseplate (4 screws) then screw the new small plate to the stick (i used the same screws that came with my original Warty stick but the adaptor comes with a bag of quality screws if required) and finally insert the new pole with the new baseplate attached to the wheelstand, lock down the super strong levers and you are done. :-)

    A technicality on terminology.

     

    Either way we are not implementing the changes that are in place for the Italian aircraft or weapon systems.

     

    We will however do a paint scheme of one.

     

    But our jet is modeled entirely on the aircraft that are/were in RAF service.

    Anyway i don't think it is too different from the version you are modelling...About later tranches Itaf is not interested in ag weapons and systems ... don't know why... probably because of the f35

    All exports versions are different, that's why I stated that although we'll have the skins for export countries the aircraft will be the British version.

    Yes there are differences, but italian version cannot be considered as export, Italy is one of the 4 nations involved in the project.

    Austrian, Saudi and Kuwaiti Typhoons can be considered export versions

    Yes...but the first historic F35 transatlantic flight was done by Italian built f35 with italian tanker

    I'm salivating at the thought of the Hornet but I would be really impressed if they get a Beta out this year. Still several months left of 2016 but building a DCS level F/A18 is a mammoth task and we haven't seen much more than some fairly basic cockpit shots so far.

     

    I hope ED come through with the goods, I just wish I could join their team as a tester!

    True, but they are working on it since 2012 i think....or anyway for some years

    Esportare strumenti cockpit

    In questa fase sto ancora cercando di configurare tutto in modo da darmi una esperienza migliore possibile con i mezzi a mia disposizione.

    Nella mia postazione ho due monitor da 24 pollici (1920x1080) affiancati e poi possiedo anche un surface pro 3, quindi ho pensato di utilizzarli il meglio possibile esportando gli strumenti del cockpit.

    Attualmente sto utilizzando "DCS World Export Scripts" ed Ikarus, e sono riuscito senza problemi a configurare tutto. Ho fatto un layout di prova per il Mig-21 da usare sul Surface Pro 3 che ha una risoluzione di 2160x1440 (gli strumenti sono messi un po' a caso è giusto un test funzionale)

    Ho fatto dei test anche con l'A-10C e sono riuscito ad esportare anche l'MFCD sinistro e destro.

    Usando Ikarus non ho visivamente notato alcun calo di framerate, quindi per ora è la soluzione che mi da meno problemi.

    Ho provato ad usare UltraMFCD ma sinceramente la beta 2.0.0.6 ha problemi e vedo le finestre esportate nere..

    Ho provato anche Helios, ma il calo di framerate è esagerato.

    Voi usate soluzioni simili? Con cosa vi trovate meglio?

    I'd would just like to say what a wonderful job you have done creating such amazing helios profiles, thank you very much.

    thought I'd share a pic here of your F-15c profile I modified slightly,

    complete with functioning VSD(radar), TEWS and MPCD(pacs) using LeavuEri_2.1

     

    I will look at creating a new thread with a setup guide for DCS 1.5, helios and leavu using your F-15c profile
