Thanx for feedback, Windows 8 is not officialy supported (as written in requirements) but anyway I will try to install Win 8 at weekend and try to debug it. In the meantime you can try to locate lumatek.lua file and copy it to game monitor config folder. Do you have us / en version of Win 8 ?

Hello Whiskey2 Do you use last version of DCS world ? Which version of Windows do you have ?

Should a GBU-12 be able to hit a moving tank?
colo replied to Dudester22's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Nice, but in your youtube video description should be : I hit a airborne shark with a LGB instead of JDAM ;) -
If you have just one monitor connected to PC it must be split between main picture and instruments, because there is not possibility to display instruments from shared memory (as desribed in requirements)

Thanx for feedback, I have also discovered that it is only possible to import differential keyboard files in Game control options. So if you have default Keyboard.lua and you want to import keys via Game control options - Load profile, you must import differential Keyboard.lua.diff file, not full Keyboard.lua file. Prepared Keyboard.lua.diff file which contains just my additional keys can be downloaded here. I dont know from which version of DCS World has this change.

I have tried it now, removed keyboard.lua, reconfigure and it is working well Have you redownload DCSpanlesPro 1.0.4 ? I am using Windows 7 64 bit SP1 with latest non-steam version of DCS World 1.2.10 Have you Keyboard.lua on place in C:\Users\winuser\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C\keyboard\Keyboard.lua ? What is your system specs ?

Hi kEnnY_m, thanx for input, I have discovered that for same strange reason game is not recreating Keyboard.lua anymore, so I have updated server part of DCSpanelsPro 1.0.4 so please redownload it from lumatek.sk It should works fine now Regarding your question: file modifiedkeyboard.lua is copied and renamed to: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C\keyboard\Keyboard.lua and file modifiedcduinit.lua is copied and renamed to: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\CDU\indicator\CDU_init.lua Please note that after version of DCS World >=1.2.10 update 1 it is no more "aircrafts" name in subfolder but "aircraft"

I wonder why this thread was silently moved to category Reality » PC Hardware and Related Software » For Sale ? It is related to A-10C only and it is not only payed, it was created as free application and it is still available as also free application. It has about 500 free users and only about 30 payed users. Admin ?

Oh s..t, I just spilt my beer over my magazine, book, mobile phone, keyboard, mouse and 2 monitors - probably it is time to stop debugging and go sleep :)

Hey kEnny_m if you need to reset keyboard mappings and server part of DCSpanelsPro: EDIT: This is not valid anymore, the game is not recreating Keyboard.lua (don't know from which version), just delete the Keyboard.lua file and DCSpanelsPro 1.0.4 will recreate this file 2. run my cmd script for deleting registry keys or delete registry keys manually (please note that registry keys just store dcs paths and resolutions not keyboard related things) 3. re-run and reconfig DCSpanelsPro server part on yout PC (be sure that you have correct version downloaded) Hope this helps Colo

Hi, now it is clear that if you use DCS World version >= 1.2.10 update 1 (subfolder of DCS installation named “aircrafts” has been renamed to “aircraft”) you must use server part of app DCSpanelsPro version 1.0.4 on your PC if you are using DCS World version < 1.2.10 update 1, you should stick with DCSpanelsPro version 1.0.3 on your PC Thank you, Laurius for notify me about that, I didn't notice that folder change. Cheers, Colo

Hi, new version of server part DCSpanelsPro 1.0.4 is out, you can download it here. It fixes the problem with DCS world path detection (I think because from some version of DCS world, the folder with aircrafts had changed name from "aircrafts" to "aircraft") If you don't have problem with server vesrion 1.0.3, there is no reason to update to 1.0.4, there are no other improvements. You can reset DCSpanelsPro server settings anytime with manually deleting windows registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\sk\lumatek\dcspanelspro or just unzip and run this file. Cheers, Colo

There is no setup required on tablet side, just on server (PC) side. You can still use manual mode by shift clicking "Locate A-10C" on server part of app, but you must export CDU instrument (if you want to use CDU) and your monitor profile manually Here is video describing this process, but it is not trivial If you have just 1 monitor I think that it is better to wait 1-2 days for fix and you can use assisted setup (if you have pro version) Sorry for inconveniences

Thank you for feedback, I think that the problem with steam version is that there is "aircraft" instead of "aircrafts" in the path. I will rework search engine and release new server version 1.0.4 at least on this weekend.
-
Does this means that: 1. there is no space in DCSWorld 2. there is air craft (with space after r) instead of aircrafts ? Thx
-
Hi regarding Pro version: - yes you can use 2 tablets (one for MFCDs and one for CDU) in assisted mode - or in unassisted mode (shift click start on server) you can use up to 3 tablets (1 x MFCD, 1 x MFCD, 1 x CDU)
-
Can you please provide me your full path to file 'CDU_init.lua' which on non-steam version resides in X:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\CDU\indicator\CDU_init.lua I dont have steam version so it is difficult to me to debug this. Thanx

Hi Fritzproject, thank you for feedback, do you mean you run server part of DCSpanelsPro (version 1.0.3) and then, you see this window ? Then you click Locate DCS A-10C, select path to your steam DCSworld folder and have some error message ? What error is displayed ? Just to be sure if you are using DCSpanelsPro 1.0.2 on your tablet, you must have DCSpanelsPro 1.0.3 server part on your PC and must already installed DCS-A10C module (not DCS-A10A) Cheers, Colo

400 x 400 is for reasonable network performance, but if you dont want to use MFCDs with my app, just ignore settings (just fill for example 400 x 400) If you dont select MFCDs on Android tablet they are never transmitted from server part of app to tablet. If you need just CDU you must just fill CDU window resolution (the same value as set up in DCS profile) and absolute position of CDU window (ie absolute X Y position on your total combined monitor resolution) If you have problem with this just send me your monitor resolutions and your current DCS monitor profile and I will change this for you and send you back your profile file Cheers, Lubos
-
You can also SHIFT click "Configure monitors and instruments" or SHIFT click "START" it is the same (or you have all of the buttons inactive - this is strange)
-
Laurius, you can override auto mode with pressing SHIFT on your keyboard and clicking on "Locate DCS-A10C" button on DCSpanelsPro Server application on your PC. Then, you can setup up your resolutions manually. If you have more than 2 monitors (which you have) you cannot use auto mode.
-
Hi Laurius, generally speaking CDU (but not whole just the display window of CDU instrument) must be displayed on any of your monitors (because ED doesn't provide shared memory from where can I read picture of instruments without displaying it directly on monitor). I think that there are 2 possibilities: 1. export CDU instrument window (and modify your current dcs profile) to the part of your small physical monitor - because you don't use whole area of these monitors, just the area between MFCDs frames (you can then cover protrude CDU part by something black on your small display) I can help you with your profile setup if you send me your profile file. 2. you can attach some old monitor (any old, cheap, under the table) if you have free port on your graphic card, and display CDU window here. If any of these points are not acceptable for you, just send me your serial number and I will refund you your DCSpanelsPro purchase. BTW nice monitor, instruments and joystick setup Best, Lubos

Yes, but only in Pro version
-
Hi kEnnY_m, thank you for info, i must look into sources of free version (there is different mechanism for version checking than in Pro version) and fix it Cheers, Colo
-
If you use free version, you must setup your monitors manually. It doesn't mean that it will not work with 3 monitors (server part of application is just sending box defined resolution of your combined x monitor resolution, so if you set up correct coordinates with DCSpanelsServer you will send correct part of screen to Android app) It doesn't mean that it will work with only 2 monitors. It means only that 2 monitors is supported in automatic config mode. If you use more than 2 monitors you should set up monitors manually (i.e. it is just about that you must define square of your total monitor resolution to be send by server part to client - it means that if you understand multi monitor config in DCS, and you have CDU displayed somewhere of your monitors, it will also work with my app) Of course yes, if you see CDU somewhere of your monitors you can define position of this visible CDU to be sent to Android client via server part of my app
