  1. I'll tell you what...you fix the Options -> Special -> F-16C -> Customized Cockpit and actually make it functional, and I'll tell you, how I fixed the pixelated canopy issue. You first!
  2. Yup. And they bury this thread, in the modding section. Yet this is clearly a UI issue. I just love pouring a few hundred hours into a cockpit retexture, only to have it hamstrung by something as simple, as a few lines of code.
  3. I'm sure that way works just fine. The issue is using a cockpit folder not named 'Default'. If it's not named Default, it won't work. Which means creating a custom cockpit with variants, is impossible.
  4. Even though there is an option, for Customized Cockpits in the Special -> F-16C options menu, and you CAN select a customized cockpit (if one is installed), it will not load unless the folder is named 'Default'. Another problem, is DCS tends to load the stock textures, on initial startup. Which requires exiting, and then reloading the game. This usually fixes it, but obviously the customized cockpit option is broken. This issue, is also present in the AH-64D, but works correctly, for the A-10C and A-10CII.
  5. There's currently a bug with DCS, which causes custom cockpit textures, to not load the first time. I more often than not, have to load DCS -> Exit Game -> and Load DCS again before the re-texture loads. Sadly, the Customized Cockpit option for the F-16C (and AH-64D), does not work. It does work, for the A-10C and CIII though, oddly enough.
  6. Updated today. Changes listed, in the file description page. Enjoy.
  7. Initial version, is available for download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3347157/ I'll update the mod every Sunday, until I'm done revising. Enjoy.
  8. It's not finished yet (still have some files to redo, and then lots of revising), but I figured I would post some screenshots, and see what everyone thinks. Any feedback would be helpful.
  9. New mirror options were added today. Try those.
  10. That would work since it goes to the Install directory, but it would also cause Integrity Check issues. Which is the exact reason, I have my mods use the Saved Games directory, for installation. This isn't a saved games vs install directory issue though. The problem here is, the Customized Cockpit option is not functioning properly, for the AH-64D module. This exact same option works for my A-10C, A-10CII, Chinook, and KA-50-3 modules just fine. Shown here, the mod named 'CleanMFDs' has been selected. However, once I load into the AH-64D, the modified textures are not loaded. i If I take that exact same mod, and rename it to 'Default' it works just fine. As seen below.
  11. Installing a customized cockpit folder, to %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_AH-64D only works, if the folder is named 'Default' i.e. \Cockpit_AH-64D\Default. If any other name is used, it always results in the original cockpit textures being applied.
  12. That's just fine. The problem, is making something functional, and then breaking it. This isn't the first time they've broken the CDU, and you're not talking about an overly complex device. To horribly break something and not fix it, in a timely manner just screams apathy, in regards to this module.
