  1. Reflected, I meant you no offense though I wont apologise for expressing my opinion, I have enjoyed the campaigns I have bought thus far. As for the sycophantic fanbases fanfare, your comments are irrelevant and dont even register. Further more, I have no need nor desire to try and scrape extra income by spending 100's of hours making campaigns that sell for chump change, the reward/effort ratio would be far too low I imagine. I have no need for such a pursuit, I've worked in the mining industry for most of my adult life and have made a lot of money in that time and own everything that I have. However, I have been busy in my spare time designing, developing and validating my own trading system using a Broker platform, of which I'm happy to share its progress to date. So this is traded out of sample and although I have not taken these trades with my own money at this point, the results are indicative as if they were. It trades on the ASX 200 starting from the 1/1/2023 on Norgate data until 8/6/23. The results on the left are the Long trade results and at this time I was wondering if I could avoid the drawdown indicated in the middle by the Underwater Equity graph by trading Short during that time. The results on the right represent my Short trade results for the 2 month market decline. So including the drawdown that I wanted to avoid I would be up roughly 35% this year. So if I threw $1,000,000 into this system I would be about $350K up this year. Why dont I you may ask? because I need to do this from within a business to avoid the CGT and thats what I am working towards doing. So Gambit21 hows my business idea? Any advice? Have a nice day gents.
  2. Each to their own YoYo, however it doesnt make good business sense to isolate your business from a large segment of a market by insisting that paying customers must fly exactly as the designer intended when there are other options, just because he deems it so! I find it arrogant, narrowminded and short sighted. Reflected makes enjoyable single player campaigns, but I would not want him managing a business of mine. I might buy another campaign or 2 of his in the future if theres no other alternatives, but they are no longer "insta-buys" for me.
  3. So I've restarted BNBOB and I see I can no longer see my location on the F10 map...was this a change thats been enforced on all users? I was in mission 4 SP and no bombers appear, I cant confirm nor deny that I am at the RV point because I cant see where I am on the map and I was not directed to the heavies on channel A as i expected. Is this a choice thats been denied for users of your campaigns going fwd? I did watch your video asking ppl not to override your settings but I'm no Amelia Earhart and have no desire to be such a navigator for a leisure pursuit such as DCS. What gives here pls Reflected?
  4. Hey mate, I appreciate the time you've taken to respond thus far and I'm sure you're a bit over it all. However, I'd gladly pay more for a MP version to reflect the extra time taken to make it work and your argument doesn't make much sense to me, but it's yours and it is what it is and I'm in no position to prove otherwise (you'd make more money to buy a better rig to make better quality vids to support your side hustle for a start). You are much less likely to get me interested in anymore of your campaigns if there is no MP ability though. Glad I bought the ones I did, but disappointed in this glaring shortfall and short sightedness. Cheers thus far though!
  5. Yes they are in mine? On that, I am curious as to why you would not be pro-coop in your campaigns, its where they fall short in my opinion and makes good business sense. More ppl would be interested in them if they could play them with a mate or 2 and you would sell more of them. How hard can it be to put a few client planes into each mission separately from the single player campaign? I bought him this campaign for this very reason and to help get him interested in WW2 planes, so I'm a bit disappointed by this.
  6. Hey mate, love your campaigns! I have BNBOB, TBS, BB and WP. Thoroughly enjoying the The Big Show again after the Normandy update . However, I'm trying to get my mate into the WW2 stuff and bought him the P51 and BNBOB and I'm trying to get the Mission 4 COOP thing happening and those damn bombers just wont show up. Re-read the mission info and searched for others feedback. We waited at the rendezvous point within the appropriate radius. Went over France via the assigned waypoints and nothing but flak flew up. Can send .trk if needed but its like the 5th 0r 6th time we've tried this mission for coop and its just not happening.
  7. Not sure if I am missing something, but does anyone else find the Spit a bitch to trim at high altitude?(30k ft in this instance) I have trim set to the TM F16 grips trimmer on my WarBRD base that would be used by the F16. I find myself constantly trimming up and down and cant find some happy medium...
  8. I think its extremely disappointing that this has not been addressed by this late stage in the Spits release! Me personally, have bought modules that I had no serious intentions of ever really utilising other than for a bit of fun on rare occasions and more importantly, as a way helping ED fund further development of current and future modules. In fact, the very reason I first got into DCS was for the Spit (and F16) which was my very first purchase and after all of my voluntary unnecessary extra support, here I am still waiting to be able to enjoy the very thing I got into this extremely expensive hobby of mine for! I even gifted a friend (no regrets) quite a few modules to help him develop a love for this sim because the entry price would've been a show stopper for him without having had the chance to get the bug first. I have parted with over USD $1350 since 2019 as my order history attached will attest to and you ED are making it very hard to stay in the mindset of spending anymore on DCS going forward. Your failure to take this issue as seriously as it should be taken is a stain on my relationship with ED and DCS.
  9. Is it legit that in the P51 the fuel tank selector is right on the left and left on the right?
  10. Ok I was missing something.....and to me its bizarre but to others maybe not so! So I did not know there was a throttle setting AND an RPM controller! I've spent the vast majority of my working life driving <profanity>, of some description or another for what its worth......and the throttle controls RPM on the vast majority of internal combustion powered machines that I'm aware of! And after reading this I see its in MudSpikes manual reflecting that. However it was never ASFAIK/recall mentioned as something that needs to be addressed in any of the tutorials online and if so, easily overlooked. Thank you gents for your valued time and input, much appreciated!
  11. Theres definitely a difference in the relationship between boost and RPM with yours and mine. Spit..trk Nice take off btw...I've got a bit of work to do apparently
  12. Thanks mate, will sort something. Do mean load up a vid or the .trk file? If I backed off my throttle to what you did in this vid I'd be in negative boost
  13. I've watched all the tutorials that I could find, read the manuals, but I'm still blowing engines. I used the auto start to ensure it wasn't something I was missing, get into the air ok and fly around. About 5 minutes or so later my engines toast. The one thing I have noticed is that I cant achieve the boost that's recommended at lower RPM settings and in fact end up with negative boost at less than 3000-ish rpms. Screen shot from the instant action Normandy mission just after take off.
  14. I'm at a given radar range using AIM 120Cs at say 40nm and I lock a target up, then the radar range has gone out to 160nm for some reason the next time i look at it. Its not just me, my mate gets the same issue as we discussed tonight. Why does it do that plz? any help appreciated.
  15. Its been posted about in here a few times I see, but if you cant host a multiplayer game and you've tried forwarding all the relevant ports then ring your ISPs technical dept and ask them if they block those ports, if so get them opened. As soon as I did, 10 mins later I could host a multiplayer game that my mate could see in the servers and join. Previously my games couldn't be seen and if we tried joining by IP address it would say "server offline". We tried to connect via our mobile phones to take the modems out of the equation, but obviously our phone providers block those ports too! Don't bother asking EDs technical support, because its not their problem apparently, which I find disappointing, they should know these things and it wouldn't be too hard to give all the relevant possible fixes and help grow the community, rather than have people lose interest in the game because they cant host a coop with a mate (the main reason for our purchases) instead having to play on someone else's server. Their response to my cry for help, with the authors name left out for anonymity purposes .... "Hello, We are only technical support and help users with DCS technical problems (game crash, module authorization errors, etc) Server configuration is an independent work of users." So if you cant host a multiplayer and you have tried everything ask your ISP about blocked ports. Borrowed from BIGNEWY's post - information about ports and protocols used for DCS world DCS uses outgoing connections to HTTP http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com:80 HTTPS http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com:443 XMPP master.eagle.ru:5222 For multiplayer game traffic DCS uses both TCP and UDP on port 10308 For Voice TCP and UDP on port 10309 webgui_port = 8088 Cheers
