Hi mates, I would like to share my experience about these two rudder pedals in the same range of price, the Thrustmaster TPR versus Slaw Device RX Viper V2 as I own both I have bought the TM TPR a few months ago and received the Slaw Device’s RX Viper V2 about 10 days ago, so by comparing them I hope to bring some contribution and help to choose the right one for those of you who try to find the BEST ONE, with DCS modules F/A18- especially F14 and F16 in a near future . As you may all know, a good pair of rudder pedals are very important to perform all combat manoeuvres as well as carrying out landings carrier, keep level in turning ….etc. and you name it, also all helis pilots Thrustmaster TPR Hard to install and find a suitable position Poor electronics parts Poor alloy, hollow metal with pedals poor aluminium grade alloy. Not so precise and nor fast responsiveness in performing all kind of manoeuvres So not definitely worth 500 euros Slaw Device’s RX Viper V2 Very easy to install 20 minutes including damper, I’m not a DIY person The prices is slightly higher, while if Thrustmaster wanted to sell the same, would ask 3 to 4 times more at least, A handcrafted, masterpiece of the part though Very precise, I know what I ‘m saying because I own other rudders as well By far higher electronics parts The mechanical movement is brilliant, due to excellent engineering Bottom line: Slaw Device’s RX Viper V2 the best of all time, top of the line rudder pedals
