This is why I'll never buy it until it's fixed, and even then I think they will not concede much. Some designers seem to think getting hit the moment it is possible is challenging or something. Same with Combat mission. The AI has no error.

I'm using SweetFX lately in RoF and Cliffs. It's quite a nice effect. I was wondering if it is compatible with DCS World, and if anyone is using it. Heres the link I have to it for RoF. I like DCS graphics, but it could sometimes do with being a little 'dirtier' IMO SweetFX for RoF

That is sad because most of the guys on here are great. You're speaking from experience too which is not always what we see.

Thanks Corrigan . Links re posted. I'm going to reinstall World and then the modules to see if that helps. I tried re-saving in mission editor, but now the sim won't load at all (another reason to re-install)

Bump . Nobody has this problem ? Any ideas what might be causing it for me. I'd like to do this campaign somehow. Any tricks , fixes, ideas welcome.

Yes good question. I 'd say 'have good energy' is closest to what I like. I like to be able to out fly my opponent and then think about using weapons. The big new thing for me is the weaponry - which to apply and how to apply them. So it makes sense to stick with the Russians as mentioned so that the avionics are familiar and I can concentrate on flying the faster fighters. From Ka-50 and Su25T I guess the biggest leap will be in handling energy and speed. Looks like Su27 and Su33. Then the Migs, then last but not least the F-15. ( A lot of good learning already in this thread. Thanks ...)

Mm good point. Googling around I see the Su33 is a naval version of the Su27 so the Su27 is a candidate. Of the Migs the S version has more avionics - good or bad, not sure ... Then the F-15 seems to be a classic must fly. I think now the challenge is going to be transitioning to Air to Air from A2G of the other craft. So my refined question is which plane will be easiest to learn A2A in ?

Hi there. I'm new to jet sims and decided that if I can learn the Su25T and all its quirks that I would spring the dollars for FC3. Now I have never flown the planes in it so I would like suggestions as to which plane to focus on and learn first. I like to stay on one plane and learn it well. I have and can fly the Ka-50 but it is a slow bake in the background while I learn fixed wing jets and their weapons. I also have A-10c and that is an even slower bake for later. As the Su25T is mainly air to ground, I'm thinking a fighter - but I'm open to any ideas. I just have no idea what the planes in FC3 are there to do. (I could google it but I'd rather ask wingmen) Any ideas welcome.

I'd learn the Su25T for free. It's a good way to learn the kinds of weapons and their uses that are going to pop up in the other DCS aircraft. If you're really itching to buy something, the Ka-50 is a good alternative to the fixed wing Su25T that you already own. You're gonna buy it anyway so why wait ?

I looked around but couldn't see anything for this. Is there a config setting that might reduce the FF strength? in DCS Su25T it's strong, a bit too for me. :joystick:

So how is Engine RPM increase/decrease different from Throttle ?

In the BS2 options ? Which checkbox? In the simffb , I don't see a box to check in the options..:helpsmilie:

Hello , my zoom will not stay stable in the Su25T. It jitters in and out to max at both ends of the spectrum and then settles close to the dash. I just read a thread on this forum about resetting the snap view in FC2 , but that won't address the problem of zany zooming. Any ideas ?

Could you say which lines are for the SU25T ? in the FC2 default lua . Nevermind. I found another soultion - take out the TrackIR inputs in the controls tab, and just map a couple of keys for zoom.

I tried it and it doesn't work for me , but it doesn't work in BS2 either so ... not sure about that.

FFB needs to come real soon. I can't really fly without center force or FF. It's just a time for configuring and setting up inputs and options - no serious flying until it kicks in. Still there is the Su25, but I did want to fly my P-51

Enmbarrassed . I hadn't run the second installer. Total dumby, sorry. Problem solved and now the P-51 is available as an option, and I added in the serial . Thanks chaps
