I started the work on the first camo Sabre of the skin pack. At the end, it will be JC-105 of I / JG73. I also have plans to do JG72 (Vikings and Foxes)

Subtle color change of Black, Red and Yellow. Better or should I reduce the brightness more?

In the meantime I found a better source of RAL colors used on the German Flag. I'll change now the color scheme from the bright one used now (left in the picture below) to the in my eye more realistic one (right side in the picture below).

The BB-stripes as well as the Hartman tulip colors are using the same as the fin flag. Found somewhere a discussion and there was a consensus that it‘s the same color. In my opinion the yellow is too bright as well that‘s why I‘m searching resources and opinions

Before doing more skins I have a common question regarding colors. Right now I'm using the colors I found on Wikipedia. According to a decal sheet they used RAL colors which does make more sense. The following image shows the current colors on the left and the RAL colors (9005 Jet Black, 3000 Flame Red, 1007 Daffodil yellow). Can someone confirm that the RAL colors are more realistic than the current colors used?

Colors tweaked, white spinner and black parts behind cockpit removed (will be added for the skin with the black paint all the way to the tail fin). I still need help with the logo of the 11th Air Group. May someone help me with a good reference?

After creating a few P-51D / TF-51 liveries for Latin American countries (see this thread) I started to create liveries for the Thunderbolt as well. I'm currently reasearching for Cuba, Colombia, Chile and Venezuela but I have started with Chile. The following livery is work in progress. I have to tweak the roundel size and the squadron logo is not very good. Some colors also need tweaking.

Next update will include more realistic camouflage colors for the Guatemalan Mustang
