  1. Hallo I had the same problem and I submitted a ticket to Dcs and they replied that is a Defender problem (false positive). So I suggest you to say to Defender that the the F14-HeatblurCommon.dll is a reliable file and is not affected by virus. If I well remember Defender put F14-HeatblurCommon.dll in quarantine and all you have to do is to remove the file from the quarantine and all will be ok.
  2. Hi Phoenix I found a fix for mission 4 by Rick! This is the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhJ-Kqac9eA Bye Gibo
  3. T The mission 4 fix already exist! It is by Rick! Thank you Rick! Here is the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhJ-Kqac9eA
  4. The fix worked ok for me but I’m stucked in mission 4 which is bugged too because the hmw stop at some time and the mission do not progress. Can you fix mission 4 either please? Gibo
  5. Same as you; i’m stucked when the Hmwees don’t turn!
  6. Jupiter Joy can you explain me how to get the "journal" page on please?
  7. Are you sure it was the radar that switched between the bandit and the missile or it was just the TCS that switched with the radar still locking the target? It happens to me a lot of time that the TCS follow the missile instead of the bandit but the radar is still STT on the target.
  8. Is there any news about the fixing of this mission? It is bugged since April. Thanks for your answer.
  9. Here is the track. I put the #1 wp exactly on the Bm21 but, as you can see, on Lantirn is completely invisible. Thanks for your help. Gibo Lantirn.trk
  10. Is there any news about this issue? If not fixed the Lantirn is piratically useless. Thanks for your answer
  11. If you are interested there are a lot of information about jamming in the F14 in FlyAndWire. https://flyandwire.com/2022/12/07/electronic-countermeasures-missiles-employment-part-iii/
  12. If you need to dispense chaff you can do it switching to Rio seat and toggle the FLARE MODE SWITCH to "norm" from the normal position "pilot"; this switch in "pilot" allow the pilot to release flare but when in "normal" for each press of the countermeasure button by the pilot one chaff is released; the problem is that you have to set this in advance to have it already set when you enter combat because is not practical to do it when already engaged.
  13. It is reported in one of the thread regarding the Phoenix but I do not remember which one and I also heard that in one ex pilot interview
  14. One of the many variables that you have to consider is the height of the target; the Phoenix range is highly affected by launch altitude and the target altitude (low altitude means thicker air so more drag and the Phoenix is very susceptible to drag because is a big missile). The golden rule to be used is determine the effective range multiplying target height for 1,5 ; so if the target is at 10.000 ft the effective range is 15 nm if the target is at 35.000 ft the effective range is 52,5 nm.
