I too am a bit concerned that the Rift won't be up to the task with regards to seeing all those little radar returns etc.

It would be an interesting training tool though, as the rear seat occupant would be able to watch what the Jester AI was doing, and perhaps learn from it.

I've run the installer with antivirus off, and also with the DCS Temp folder and the autoupdate.exe added in the exceptions. I'm currently running Win7, so the Win8 issue wouldn't affect me. Anything else you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any update to this issue? I'm having this problem when trying to install the BS2 upgrade. I've tried running the installer without AV on, and also with .../Temp/DCS exceptions in my AV. Still can't figure out how to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is definitely a future feature request for the devs.

If I remember correctly, the throttle on the collective would have been used constantly on the old piston engine helis, whereas nowadays with turbine/turboshaft engine A/C it's set to 100% after startup and generally left alone (unless you're operating the throttle/rpm manually)

I don't have "Repair DCS World" or "Update DCS World" in my start folder :(

I've launched DCS World and no auto-update popped up. I've tried searching in start>search box for the DCS auto-update too, and it finds nothing. I'm running version 1.2.3 so I would've thought that auto-update would be included....

Guys, a little help please? I've followed the instructions to use the auto update, but when I go to start>ED>DCS World, I don't see any icon for auto-update. Am I looking in the wrong place, or have I missed something?
