''We are working on it'' I hope they are working on it. This is a incredible answer.

I don't understand why ED doesn't communicate it's incredible

The new spotting dots update is terrible for many of us, that's a fact. The ED forum attests to this. but unlike today's hotfix, no communication. Absolute silence. I would have simply liked ED to clarify the situation and give his point of view. But nothing. Just the forum which is filled with the same comments.

I only speak for myself but this new update is a real disappointment. No performance increase, processor Core 0 saturation, and spotting dots is horrible in VR.

Exactly the same with the option activated or not dcs.log DxDiag.txtoptions.lua

The same for me

Hi, At the end of the script there are 2 folders created 1 mod folder and 1 temp folder with tacan.zip what should I do with the tacan.zip folder Thanks -
Exactly, i use the 2.9.5.55918 version

completely agree The only question that bothers me is Have we arrived at the moment where we will have to make choices that will leave part of the community (perhaps me too) by the wayside?

Hello Hiob, You are wrong when something works well I don't change anything No update of Nvidia drivers, no update of my quest 2 (wifi cut), same for W10. Only those that I choose after good feedback and use As DCS is the only game I use everything is organized for it. example I am with a quest 2 v62

I realize that the task is not easy, but I await the next update with great anticipation but also with fear. We'll see. In the meantime you have my full support
-
I understood well, but the problem is that with the same settings and identical missions the FPS drops. It's good that something changes as updates come. Why should I sacrifice quality when until now my settings suited me?

Hello BIGNEWY I hope there is good news. I really encourage the team to listen to user feedback and especially from those who have relevant opinions. There are issues that have been submitted for a long time and have still not been resolved. I definitely don't want to be pessimistic and I really want to always be able to enjoy this incredible simulator Thanks for all

what is the interest of developing new functionalities, modules, maps, etc.? If no one can benefit from it. I have the impression that it is like an unmentionable secret. If the future of DCS is to be developed for high-end computers. That's not a problem, but let it be said and we know what to expect. Everyone will make a choice. Today the version usable for mid-range computers is 2.9.5.55918 and if, like many of us, there is no progress it will be the last. What a pity

for my part I expect a significant performance gain from the next update and if that was all I would be happy with It's time to move on performance issues the rest for me can wait

No news from ED This is the "sound of silence"

DCS Optimized Textures Powershell Script
Bounti30 replied to zbysiek's topic in How To Mod for DCS World

That's a really good question. You can also resize the textures of the maps. This will lead to an increase in performance -
