  1. update - may have been caused by running different game versions between players, multithreaded and non multithreaded.
  2. Georgia At War v3.0.24_evening-20230628-193217.trk Been trying several times now to join a friend in the F-15E as WSO. it's been working in previous days. today however, DCS Freezes and crashes upon entering. By this track file - prior i have gone to an instant free flight on caucasus to make sure the map can load. i then join the georgia at war server, load into a harrier slot, verify that it works, and then slot to my friends F-15E as WSO, where upon loading in results in a crash.
  3. +1 for block 40 variant, it's gonna fit most export nations as well. and will essentially cover service Falcons 1989-present, which is pretty impressive as far as variant usage goes. and can ofc be much better optimized for earlier scenarios as well. Besides, it is simply plainly superior to our current block 50C/M in terms of having all weather capability, better navigation systems, and integrated ECM. AIM-120A's could be made a mission editor payload restriction for accuracy as well. (also i am biased for the WAR hud and navflir)
  4. Correction: The AFT / FWD Fuel system switch utilizes a crossfeed pump to pump fuel to the selected tank system. (if AFT is selected, fuel will be moved actively to the AFT system from the FWD System and vice versa in FWD mode) To my experience this is modeled in DCS, and you can squeeze a tiny bit more range out of the plane if you can identify the damaged system. in any case, switching fuel out of NORM in the case of fuel line damage is prefferable, as it disables automatic CG maintaining pumps inside of each system. however individual tank leaks don't seem to be modelled currently, and i have never gotten any effect out of doing this. even though it should help alot. 5. No longer will i need the 2gb folder on my desktop of F-16 viper test sheets to rant on endlessly to my friends about the vipers supposedly underperforming in dcs haha. Video looks pretty good, what it looks like, and what i hope, is it will reach rated STRs at MIL power as well, now that the drag values have been changed. finally giving the impression that we are flying a big mouth viper.
  6. Nope. early access. have to use the f10 map and have some measurement tools on your desktop. In regards to the people going "typing in coords is realistic" no. no it's not. (edit : atleast typing in coords from f10 map on the go) Having to bring out a map, spend 5 minutes trying to figure out where you are because the INS still doesn't calibrate with GPS. then plotting an approximate steerpoint on some dirt road you see 7 clicks down off to your left. Then typing that into the UFC. all while you're using valuable fuel, getting shot at by SAMs, and have enemy interceptors on your ass in 15 minutes. is not realistic in a 21st century Jet Fighter that was made to search and destroy. In our current model of the F-16. we should get the ability to autodesignate waypoints by aiming our plane at the ground, and trough TPOD (i think). along with SOI features on the HSD for waypoint creation and manipulation, much like how the viggen does it. airfields should also be able to be preplotted on the HSD along with some other things. but that will probably be pending the complete data cartridge system for the falcon.
