Yeah, its a bit annoying that they dont release stuff to the public right away. But AREA51 is merely a way of funding the project seeming they dont have alot of money.

Your joking if you think FO is gunna take 4-5 years, what source do you have for you to believe that? They would have released a demo early this year if they hadn't have run into the legal problem end of last year with that publisher. Say you are correct, and that FO will be released in 4-5 years, the graphics will be way BETTER than those renders my friend. Those are models that will be used in the game.

Your right, thunderworks have written the code from scratch on their own engine. So far they even have a working harrier! (vertical lift). And if you are serious in saying FO is never going to exist, you need a head check. They have the xplane engine and even tho they are all "renders" they are what will be in the final product.

The 1.1 demo is fine, my only problem is atleast once evertime i fly, usually at random times (sometimes when i blow up something) the screen may 'wobble" in lines horizontally down the screen. I can look around and it fixes it, but 5 seconds later the game freezes with this "wobble" effect happening.

I disagree quite heavilly with u there. I think ED should release some dev tools to allow us to edit terrain, scenery, textures/models, and possibly even let us try to add our own planes. There are ALOT of talented people out there with alot of time on their hands that could work together to put new planes into the game at the same quality that ED does it. And after all, it would come down to the player what mods they install into the game. So if they really want an x-wing, they can have an x-wing (somehow i doubt itd ever happen, be fun though :P )

Consumer rights really depends on what country your from, obviously. In Australia, retailers have to accept a refund of the product if it does not meet your requirements even if the product is in perfect working order (it doesnt work on ur pc for some reason, its not what u needed it for etc). However, international laws are probably a bit different.

Paypal and download. (Working on getting paypal account now) and i hope that the download will be in sections (like 200megs each section) as my connection tends to drop out sometimes, and i dont wanna have to download a 700meg file in one hit, as i guarentee my connection will drop out atleast once.
