  1. I also prefer physical controllers, but I would love if DCS would integrate the Leap Motion hand tracker. Not as virtual hands, because I dont have the space needed to reach for the buttons at their correct position, but as an alternative to the mouse. Just holding my hand with thumb and index fingers close together controls the mouse position, put them together to click. Not real VR, but neither is reaching for the mouse.
  2. Have you tried adjusting the IPD as well as moving the headset up/down?
  3. Leap Motion support is a no-brainer, as you only need to interact with the buttons/dials you can see. In general buttons, switches and dials could be highlighted (e.g. like in the tutorials), when a certain "hand position" is recognized inside the highlight zone to the control. For buttons and switches, the position would be a pointing index finger, for a dial it would be thumb and index finger toughing each other. Before a control can be activated, you would need to transition into its activation zone(preventing accidentally activating controls just by moving across a panel). Buttons would be activated just by entering the activation zone, switches need a flip by the finger, and dials need a twist/hand rotation.
  4. Leap Motion support - please!! Imagine holding your finger close to a button (inside its highlight zone), and it highlights. Pushing forward into its activation zone, activates the button. For a switch you move the finger up/down, for a dial you hold two fingers together and rotate your hand (still inside activation zone). That would be SO cool! And intuitive.
  5. Just ordered the OSVR Hacker Development Kit v1.4 :-) Hopefully DCSW will support OSVR handtracking eventually...
  6. With the Orion update, hand tracking has really improved: https://www.youtube.com/embed/rnlCGw-0R8g?autoplay=1
  7. "This announcement came in conjunction with a slew of new content reveals, including support for inCellVR, Windlands, DCS World, War Thunder..." http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/osvr-hdk-v1-4-available-now,news-52599.html
  8. OSVR 1.4 with the included Leap Motion controller would be perfect! With the improved hand tracking, you could just reach for a switch and pinch two fingers to toggle. With a know you would pinch and rotate your hand. http://www.razerzone.com/eu-en/store/osvr-hdk
  9. I have configured my Cougar so that S3+DMS Left is left MFCD (KP0+KP4) and S3+DMS Left long is radios (KP0+KP1), works great!
  10. In TARGET I use the following for a closeup view of left MFD, right MFD and HUD: DCS A10C.tmh: define CloseUpHud CHAIN(DOWN+KP0, KP5) define CloseUpLeftMfd CHAIN(DOWN+KP0, KP1) define CloseUpRightMfd CHAIN(DOWN+KP0, KP3) define CloseUpReset UP+KP0 DCS A10C.tmc: MapKeyIO(&HCougar, H3U, CloseUpHud, DMS_Up); MapKeyIO(&HCougar, H3D, CloseUpReset, DMS_Down); MapKeyIO(&HCougar, H3L, CloseUpLeftMfd, DMS_Left); MapKeyIO(&HCougar, H3R, CloseUpRightMfd, DMS_Right);
