  1. Hey, new liveries maker here. I'm trying to make sense of this thread, can we actually do liveries now even if the MV model is not available? Say I just want to put a simple recolor on the Paint Kit Template provided in the Downloads for now and see that in game, where would I put the DDS I create? In E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F-5E\Liveries\F-5E-3\MyLivery ? And then how do I make my livery appear in the Mission Editor selector? Do I need to append a description from an old description.lua or do I just put the new one provided? Or do I need to create a new folder that matches the name in the description so: E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F-5E\Liveries\F-5E3\MyLivery And if I'm doing this, what should the folder structure and content be so that my livery appears in the Mission Editor selector (if that's at all how it works)?   4. Hey guys, Not 100% sure about this one, I could not find precise information on it. I've had a case yesterday where I fired a radar Hellfire using the TADS as the sight (George as CPG) I was looking at a vehicle around 9km away from me and fired when conditions for the Lima where met. My lead helicopter was slightly in front and to the right of me (see Tacview and track). Right off the rail, the hellfire started tracking them instead, resulting in a blue on blue. My understanding of the Lima was that the missile would fly to the coordinates that the TADS gave it, then start looking for a target at that location a few seconds before impact, not right after launch. Repro: -Ask George to WAS the HF Limas -Look for a target in front of you at a good distance with George (TADS) -Put a helicopter on the probable flight path of the missile -Fire the Lima -Observe that it can lock onto the helicopter On the track, accident occurs around 0550L Note that throughout the engagement, George was doing some weird calls about the aircraft being armed but that seems to be a different matter (it's not a track replay thing, it was happening yesterday in game too). Is it possible that this specific Lima already had coordinates in from the FCR sweep that I was performing at the same time? (It did have the lead Apache as NTS for a bit then the NTS became a wheeled vehicle, but when I switched to the video page the FCR was still sweeping in the back even if George had selected that Lima and was using the TADS) 2024-06-09 11-21-04.mp4 Bug_Hellfire_L.trk

  7. Hey, Just tried to connect to DCS tonight and the sim is telling me I don't have authorization for the Harrier? Tried restarting it's still coming up. I obviously own the aircraft. -Ben null
  8. Hey guys, Been testing the Mk20 for an event I'm participating in and noticed that since the last update the seem to be hitting very very short of the piper.   9. Sure let me get that for the Harrier! In the meantime I tested with the F15E and I got the attached log. It looked very similar with the export start line and a few frames later the export stop with the Harrier.   10. Same for me on the Harrier, all buttons work but no data displayed on the physical UFC. Downloaded and pasted the latest Github version, I haven't touched anything in SimAppPro though (no Key Binding or Virtual Device Mapping or anything of that sort) Data is displaying just fine on regular modules like the F18 or the F16
  11. Hey, I've looked a bit and couldn't find a recent thread on that topic with a solution, so here goes. Context: I have an issue with the Hornet, after aligning with a stored alignment on the ground and turning the knob to IFA when the alignment reaches 0.5, the alignment process starts again and doesn't seem to stop. It prevents using the Auto option on the flight plan for instance. This happens on a private server in multiplayer, on Sinai. Repro: -Battery On, APU On -Start one engine -Turn on screens -INS knob to GND, tick stored heading -Wait for alignment to reach 0.5 -Turn knob to IFA Observed: -IFA RDR displayed on MCPD and alignment process started again -Cannot use Auto flight plan Expected: -IFA should not realign Attached is the track file.   15. Hey Reflected! I've flown the first few missions. On the first sortie I've noticed a massive drop in performance when we are being joined by the bombers. Any advice on how to mitigate that?
