  1. Apparently this is a issue for some people. Any ideas on how to test if the "block" is on my service provider? maybe said provider is closing some necessary port
  2. Hello all, I've found a couple of tutorials on how to make/use a customized cockpit texture and another on how to alter the BUNO for the FA-18C. I don't know if they got obsolete with the constant patching or something else, but they didn`t work. Even some liveries available for download that theoretically alter the BUNO number aren`t working. I was planning to change a few things on the cockpit, but couldn`t locate a source that provided the knowledge needed. At present is it possible to alter the cockpit texture? if so, can someone recommend a tutorial that will work with the current version?
  3. Hello there, Although, in theory, I've forwarded the ports and configured the firewall to allow traffic from/to DCS, when I create a MP server, it doesn't appear in the MP server browser in DCS. I'll try to list what I've done so far. Maybe someone can spot the flaw and help me - ports 10308, 10309, 443 Forwarded to my "local host" - Comodo firewall with custom ruleset for dcs.exe (TCP or UDP in or out allowed) - Windows firewall disabled/Avira firewall disabled - just a little after running, my server shows up at https://x51squadron.com/dcs_servers, but not at DCS MP browser - we've tried direct IP connection, but it didn't work - I've created a DMZ, but it also didn't work - my DCS can connect to my friend server and to other servers listed in DCS without issues - problem is persistent | restarts and reboots didn't help. I saw a post reporting the same issue, marked as SOLVED, but there was no answer there. I even tried to resurrect the thread without success. Any ideas?
  4. I have the same issue. this post is marked as solved, but I don`t know what was the solution OP found. IJNAkagi could you share it please? here: - we can see the server with https://x51squadron.com/dcs_servers X51squadron browser finds the server when I run it, what made me thing that ports were being forwarded alright, but even with the firewall, disabled DCS MP browser can't see it - direct IP connection also failed - I tried with DMZ and no-DMZ simple port forwarding* * ports 443, 10308-309 are forwarded with TCP and UDP If my friend runs the server, we can see it with DCS MP browser, connect and run the mission without problems (we're running the latest version) any ideas?
  5. Although I have DCS installed for some time. Just now I'm dedicating some time to it. So my thank you goes to you a few years after the original work.
  6. I usually don't post much, but since, it may be useful to others, I decided to share my experience buying from Damien. We all know the product is good quality, fits flawlessly and he supports it - reading those comments that I've decided to buy it. The new variable is that I live in Sao Paulo Brazil. My country legislation regarding importing goods over mail has some gray areas, that function as a trap, if some precautions aren't taken when filling the paperwork. After a brief email exchange, Damien understood the picture and processed the paperwork in a way that significantly reduced the chances of issues with customs. Issues I had when buying from small vendors in the past or even from Alias Wavefront, were not the case dealing with Delta Sims. It was a positive experience buying from him. Just in case this testimony is useful to someone trying to decide on the buy...
  7. Thank you for the tip I had the same issue and your post helped me
  8. Hello there I've been flying my Hornet and having fun for some time now. Until last week, I was using a X52 HOTAS without glitches, but Black Friday came and I took advantage of a good deal and got myself a Thrustmaster Warthog with the FA18C Grip. I'm still trying to get used to the harder spring, but the product is first tier as many of you already know and is working flawlessly. However, one issue came that intrigued me a bit: I decided to make the event a debut for my A10C2 module that I had not flown before. I just ran an instant free flight mission to see how the acft behaves. I've noticed a strong "nose up" tendency. Making the long story short, after a little research I found that with the A10C2 module, although the physical joystick is centered, DCS is interpreting it as "nose up commanded" (Y axis with marker a little bellow the center - without using any tuned joystick curve). Intriguing because, with other modules I have, the center position of the physical stick corresponds to the center position values at X and Y DCS axes. I could adjust the joystick input curve to "correct" the issue and produce a standard pitch curve, but, before doing that, I decided to check if anyone had the same issue and what was the solution, as I may be overlooking something. Any thoughts? (with A10C and A10C2 the issue is present)
  9. Howdy there, First of all, congrats on the project Ansirial. Is there a manual on how to setup things? Is it able to pull data back from the multiplayer trks that I have flown online?
  10. Thanks speed-of-heat.
  11. For those using it for a while, I have a question: is it possible to also configure the keyboard shortcuts via JoyPro ? I usually use a Rift-S and a X52 and the immersion is great. I don`t like lifting the HMD to peek at the keyboard. Therefore, I have assigned keys to the X52 buttons and, because we can get a combination of 3 modes x 2 pinkie-button-states, I`ve manage to extend the 20+ buttons and 3 hat switches to cover everything I need to fly the FA18C. I thought that I could use Joy Pro to also remap the keyboard shortcuts between modules similar to what it does with the joystick buttons. Does anyone know if that is currently possible or, if it`s not yet a feature, if the author have plans addressing that?
