+ 1 I'm lost how to export to a 2nd monitor. My lower monitor has lower res than my main. I got it working with the A10 years ago but I've lost my settings and forgot how to calculate [emoji30]

Thanks Blech, I followed the steps. Deleted the input folder but same problem. Btw all planes are affected in 1.5.7. Cant assign joystick keys.

Hi, I can no longer assign a joystick command in 1.5.7 only. what I would normally do would be to open controls. Find the command I wish to assign. Say "Landing Gear" G > Find my joystick on the list > double click on the empty box that would normally bring up the "Add assignment panel" I would then press the button on the stick to assign. When I double click on the box i wish to assign a command now the box turns blue but the "Add assignment panel" does not appear. Ive tried this in DCS World 2 and it works as normal. Ive tried to repair DCS World 1.5.7 it goes through the repair process but I have the same problem. Any Ideas? :helpsmilie: Is there a file I could delete to force DCS to produce a new one? "Delete unnessecary stuff in the download folder, where everything downloaded will go" Just confirming if I delete everything in that folder it won't have any affect on the sim?

Hi, A couple of times while downloading a DCS world update the download has failed. Ive just received a warning that I'm running out of disk space. I can only put this down to the files from the failed download. I have 2 installs of DCS. DCS World is 29GB in size DCS World 2 open Alpha is 65GB...... Can't be right can it? I there a folder where these trash downloads are stored so I can manually delete them? In the past a popup would inform me of previous files this is not happening. Any help?

atsmith6, (or anyone using an X65F) Can you describe how you set the rotaries to control pitch and rudder trim on the X65F? I'd like to set Roll to Rotary 1 and if poss pitch to Scroll wheel . Or would pitch need to be Rotary 2? I just cant seem to get the game to recognise any of the above axis. Just as a point. At the moment I don't have rudder pedals. Could this be preventing me? (I bloody hate the twist grip rudder) Thanks Novac.

Hi I bought this sim as a Beta-1. First time I've paid for a Beta. And very happy I did it. From my point of view. I HOPE you will release the next DCS project as a Beta also. (MULTY ROLE PLEASE!!) If only other company's would do the same. My hat goes off to you guys. My question is... Was it worth the hastle of all the negative comments. In some cases VERY negative? Cheers Novac-185th

I have a pair of cougar MFD's that I want to attach to a 2nd monitor. Any other software needed, Hellios ect? Many thanks Novac.

Just a thought. Could one of the buttons on the stick be stuck, ie constantly transmitting a signal. Try using an event tester to see if the stick is sending a keypress. The thrusmaster TARGET software has a tester. Or even open up a blank word doc.

I had the same problem a while ago. When I donload missions using windows explorer I couldn't get them to work. Even by changing the file from .zip to .miz I read a tip on this site recomending using firefox to download and it worked. The folder came down as .miz

Hi Can someone give me details as to how to find the number of activations I have left? After installing 1.0.0.8 I had a "few" problems and entered a "few" codes! Now worried I've used a lot of my activations!! It's the 1st thing I've bought with this "Starforce" system. I don't like it.... But looks like I'll have to live with it. BUT, to be honest I'm VERY impressed with the level of support that DCS provides. I bought the sim on the 1st beta release. And each time there's a patch it's "Wow" If this is the service I get from DCS I welcome the anti-piracy measures Cheers Novac.

Thanks for the replies guys. After reading the 1st few replys saying the kindle is not that suitable for PDF's I dropped that idea for the moment. Which is a good thing as my wife works part-time in a library and these Kindle's, ebook readers and Ipads will no doubt put her job at risk. Best keep on her good side Eh? Now I would love an Ipad but there are a few more gadgets on my list before that. No 1 would be the HOTAS warthog, but i don't think I could sneak one of those into the house without questions.... My normal tactic is to take 50% off the price and tell her that! But even so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I managed to get a loan of small laptop which is doing the job fine. I can now read in my favorite place.....Bed. I now find myself at 2:00am waking up with a laptop in my hands instead of a book. DON'T EVEN GO THERE GUYS, JUST DON'T Cheers Novac.

Sorry Hassata & ColGray, Hassata your link shows not found! And i'm new to firefox so my advise is limited. ColGray, Firefox is just like internet explorer but from a different company. Google firefox. Then download and install and use as you would explorer. For some reason explorer for me gives me a zip file that "I" cant get to work. Firefox downloads it as a .miz file that can be transfered to your missions folder direct.

Hi, I'm thinking of buying an Amazon Kindle which is capable of reading PDF files. Has anyone tried the kindle with the A10C PDF manual? I know its in black and white and expensive at £111 but in the long run for reading books and pdf's from several Sim's it may be cheaper in the long run. I just can't read from a pc monitor.....Don't know why. I need paper to take in the info. And kindle reads like paper...........Or so I'm told. Cheers Novac.

Thanks a lot Dane, Mozilla Firefox got it working. (in case anyone else has this prob) When I used IE to download the files I got a zip files which contained around 50+ files!! Using Mozilla Firefox it came through as a single .miz file :thumbup: AND Sabre, Well done mate for a very nice BFT 1 I look forward to the rest of your series :thumbup: :smartass:
