I've tried dropping troops near enemy positions on servers but they just sit there and do nothing. I've got in close to the point I'm being fired at which isn't ideal. Am I doing something wrong?

My issue was the beta drivers for oculus, unsubscribe to them and it worked fine

Yeah definitely having issues with both my Sims CTD. When I launched meta it had logged me out and then updated which has never happend before. Might try rolling back to see if that has stops the issue OK so unsubscribed to the beta test channel and DCS now loads.

Anyone experienced the sim crashing to the desktop while loading. Blue bar gets to about 90% and the game goes back to the desktop. Worked fine last night and haven't installed or changed anything. Since yesterday I'm getting the same issue. Seems to be openxr_loader.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll. It's not just causing CTD's in just DCS either, my other SIM is having the same issue. Thought it might be the meta update but still figuring it out.

Same here, it's also doing the same with MSFS as well as DCS. I can't repair redist it just says install and then nothing.

Normally do Duxford, Cosford and RIAT with a few trips to LH and the loop. Unfortunately only visiting RIAT this year.

That makes sense thanks, had the button mapped twice one for copilot lase and something different for the pilot. Deleted the pilot mapped button and it worked.

Is there are way to setup using the laser from the pilots seat or is it strictly from the left seat?

No problem, glad to hear there's a fix on the way.

Just attempted the first mission and had the same issue. My drops went well, held orbit at 16000 and lased, got mission fail and 2 seconds later the bomb hit the target and I got the target hit message.

All sold?

Tried that and the pod was still open with no chute.

Absolutely fantastic and well worth the wait. Is there a way to reset the drag chute after landing?

Exactly this, it'll be a patch but outside the normal 6 week cycle. Might be wrong but sure I've read that somewhere recently.

Pretty sure ED said that new module releases could be outside the normal patch schedule, so could be anytime.

Just started my F18 pit. Nowhere near as good as some of the excellent projects on here but it is a start and I'm limited for room at the moment. Only made from MDF and timber, don't think it's turned out to bad for a first attempt.
