Never tried autostart, but autostart no always set everything for take off, haven't tried it in p-47, so cant speak about that.

 

I just watched the video of me, were I do mange to take off, I see the RMP is set at max by default after the auto start. In the video were I do manage to take off I put it back and then I increase it.

I can't imagine trying to learn this aircraft without pedals - yes it can be done as said above - but OMFG what a chore that must be!

 

I have pedals but for my P47, I only use them for wheel breaks for taxi and landing.  I've tried to use pedals for rudder I various game but find it unnatural as I'm so used to twist stick. Might be because my PC place doesn't allowed a lot of room for pedals so they are a little to close. Also the pedals are just G25 racing wheel pedals.  Not ideal for flight sims.

[How to land at Lympne with a P47]

So this aerodrome feel a little short for a P47, I do mange to take off, almost hitting the trees(treelined airfield seems like a silly thing to have) 
But it seems very short to land with the P47 on.

While I'm a noob, so I'm so the pros can do it. I came in as low and slow as I could, just over the trees and stuff on the ground. I managed to get it down, but putting a little pressue of the wheelbreaks didn't do much, and I was running out of field, so I hit them harder and did a backflip...

Perhaps your engine is not warmed up?

I use autostart, I've not levled up enough for manual start.

It appears it was, I did mange to take off, by adjusting it, I could feel the engine about to give up, but I adjsueted it. I did it in a hurry so not exactly sure where I put it to get it to work. 
But I think Auto-start sets it on the max?

So I took off yesterday perfectly fine
Then today I'm trying to play a user made mission, where you take off from England and bomb a workyards in France, you take off from a drit aerodrome.
I taxi to the end of the field, lock the tailwheel, hold the wheel breaks. put down half flaps, put the MF to 30 and release the breaks and throttle up to 55MF.
But even before I get to 30, the engine breaks, sounds like a lug has gone loose and is ratteling around the engine.
I've tried to throttle very very slowly, but nothing works, before 30 the engine breaks.
Sometimes I manage to get it up in the air but either I get almost no power or the engine just stops. And yes the Cowl flaps are open.

I follow this guide to the letter.

The engine just dosn't want to get to 30 manifold pressure. I've tried with or without the boost attached.

I works on F16, and it works in other flight sims, but the trim has no effect on the P47. I have it set on both sim and easy versions. It's makes the plane damn near impossible to control especially in dives. 

[Is there a definitive answer for Window mixed reality? Open XR or steam motion projection?]

I've googled and watched videoes but some vidoes are old and so not current. What is the best way to get a good solid flow for the G2?
Use the open XR motion projection or the steam one?
