I don't want to be a part of that extremely small minority lol. I really do want to pull the trigger on this. All I've been reading are problems and no solutions. How long have you had yours?
This is what I didn't want to read. I was just looking at that throttle the other day and thinking about getting it. Looks like someone else was having that same issue.
I use ODT. I have everything disable accept FOV which is set to auto. Adaptive GPU at default. Distortion Curvature at low. Encode Resolution at 3960. Encode Bitrate at 500 and link Sharpening enabled.
I also have the Q2 with a 3060ti with the pixel density set at 1.5. I'm averaging 40 fps depending on aircraft and map but doesn't drop under 35. Very smooth flight in M.T. with openxr. Graphics at high accept water and shadows. If I set it to 1.7 my fps drops to about 35 but still very smooth and very clear.
I was just looking at one of the pictures on the site. It has 2 buttons on the side of the grip. If one of those is a 4-way hat switch it could actually be used as the target designator. Or you can try the Thrustmaster for $129 like Mistermann posted.
Your setup is similar to mine except I'm running a 3060ti. I'm getting smooth 45FPS in single play. I'm using Oculus tool tray and running a memory cleaner while flying that seems to help with the stuttering. What 5ephir0th posted might help you as well.
Are you using the Saitek software or programming within DCS? The mode switch works as key presses within DCS. When I fly the Hornet, I use it for flaps. When flying the Falcon, I use it for auto pilot.
