Dawger for most of us it isn't the cheating element that's the game breaker, we just want an OPTION so its not awkward ugly, I like limits as do many others, have them client side IDC. I just want to not smash my head through every two seconds. And anways, people that are PRO VR Limits are going to be PRO TIR limits by definition, hell even have those client side. -

Bro it's not even a lot of Dev time, If (redacted simulator) can do it we can too. We pay a lot for these modules, I want the OPTION to not have my head go out the window, is that really that hard to understand? I don't care if other people don't want this OPTION turned on. I want it personally on as do many others. Yes it might be a damn game, but I could play any other game, the reason I play DCS is because it is the most REALISTIC. Adding optional limits will improve the REALISM the game STRIVES to ACHIEVE. My point isn't even about the supposed advantage us VR players have. It's more about I pay for a REALISTIC experience. I don't want to clip my own head through a damn piece of glass. Can you get that into your head? Some of us VR players don't want our heads outside at 300mph. -

Okay so we have all these High Fidelity models, designed to accurately depict an aircraft, but we don't have any of the visual problems the real pilots had because we can just stick our heads outside. If this doesn't matter at all, can you please explain why an F-35 pilot has a helmet that let's him see through the aircraft, or why an F22 and an F16 have 100% clear canopies? Essentially what you are saying is This is a simulator. But we should only simulate some things. Keep in mind DCS is trying to be the highest fidelity/most realistic combat flight simulator out there... -

Would their be the opportunity to have both as options, you can select what you want on the client side? I'd personally like a hard limit but if my friend wanted it to fade or go pixelated to avoid sickness that would be fantastic. Both points, I said why not make it an option we can choose, even if many had it disabled many would have it enabled. 2nd point yeah you'd be surprised actually, people on discord servers arguing that it's not immersion breaking... Honestly I don't care if servers enable it or not, if there's two options, a motion sick friendly and a hard limit that is the best compromise IMO. I have genuinely won dogfights where I have lost Tally and regained by sticking my head outside briefly, it 100% occurs. -

What about us players that don't experience the sickness or have taught our brains to go through it? I was severly sick on all VR games but now I can play games with movement restrictions. Someone stated in his post on the other page that you often accidently move out the boundary, it does break immersion, I can't stick my head out the cockpit in real life, why DCS? Sometimes I check six and crank my head around and because there's no restriction my head can pop out easily, you get a sudden burst of loud noise and you don't really expect your head to go through glass. There are ways to do this to make it motion sickness friendly and not, hard limits like the other simulator I would like, but make it toggleable. Use a fade or pixelated system for people that find it motion inducing, and have an option to not run any. Saying that sticking your head outside of a solid cockpit is not immersion breaking is just delusional. I can literally check my blind spot, imagine if you could check your blind spot in a vehicle with low visibility such as a van or lorry, you could reduce motor accidents no? Same logic applies here, I can check blind spots for danger without having to move the aircraft in order to give me that visibility. To add a second point I don't care about what trackIR users can do, I play VR and honestly it doesn't matter to me what IR users do because I know I have more situational awareness in VR, so the benefits of VR out way the immediate check 6 capability of TIR. And always, who says those that want these limits aren't opposed to TIR limits? -

Hi Team, I have noticed an issue regarding track corruption and Nineline has asked me to post it with the details. Essentially it seems that track corruption happens nearly every time when flying an FW190. It seems that even taxing at slow speed using the wheel brakes causes the track to corrupt and the plane to just start doing 360s. It appears to affect the FW190's in particular for me as I use heavy inputs to get them turned and keep straight on take off. TLDR: Using individual axis wheel brakes, it seems to corrupt the track every time, doesn't seem to happen if I bind them to a button instead like a hat switch on my stick instead of using the toe brakes on my rudder pedals. I assume this could be to do with the fact that when you are tapping a hat switch instead of using axis toe brakes, the input is short and sweet, where as the toe brakes you can drag for extended periods at different levels. I have attached a track from SoW server showing how it corrupted when taxing to runway. I will also link a video below showing a re-creation recorded in real time of what actually happened later after work. https://www.mediafire.com/file/7pfkhhrhxy9q0y3/FW190_taxi_to_runway_just_spinning_Bug.trk/file EDIT: It seems that Peregrine7 on the DCS Discord had a fix for this. It seems that if you have auto-rudder turned on in SP it messes with the taxing in the tracks. This would explain why my Spitfire and 109 tracks had no corruption but my 190 tracks did as I don't fly 190s single player so never turned the setting off as it's auto disabled on Storm of War. Not sure if there could be a possible option when viewing tracks to disable and player settings so they don't override what was in the track?

Some antics from last nights flight, myself @Teckel and his friend managed with some friendlies to get a whole bomb squadron down + a couple fighters, wish I recorded comms but hey ho had to settle with some royalty free music, my film making skills aren't good but I've done what I can!
