What would give us, the DCS community, calm and reassurance would be knowing where we stand for Razbam's modules. The lack of information means we don't know if the Razbam's modules will be updated or deprecated. The uncertainty continues to fuel the this on-going debate. I know the strike eagle has worked even though no updates in over a year. Mike Force Team

Release in 2026 but barely any info 6 months before 2026?
Mike Force Team replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
@szymixzmb Here is an example. It took Razbam eight (8) real-world years for the Mirage 2000. The same module that is now no longer available for sale in DCS. I know we want instant gratification right now, right here, this second. In the meantime, all we can do is wait. -
Release in 2026 but barely any info 6 months before 2026?
Mike Force Team replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
@LimePartician I understand it is frustrating whwn limited information is available. ED will start dropping bread crumbs of information when the release of a new module will be happening. They information could be hinted in short release video trailers, details leaked to popular DCS content creators on YouTube, or implied in ED'S newsletters. Patience is a virtue. Mike Force Team -

I read the information that some kind of settlement was reached last year. At the same time, I know that Razbam told ED to stop selling their full-fidelty modules. I read the ED will support the Razbam modules as best as they can. Will we know, at a time in the future, if the agreement between the companies means that Razbam resumes selling their modules and providing regular monthly updates?
-
Wanting and waiting for planned full-fidelty modules is frustrating. We might say, "We want it and we want now!" Virtual flyers want to experience the fun and instant gratification. In the meantime, we wait for Heatblur to do their work. When they say something is planned, they do considerable work, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure their product goals are reached. Waiting for the vetted finished product will give many hours of enjoyment When I read Heatblur's latest update, they said they are working on the Eurofighter. It also sounds like the A-6 would either be released after the Eurofighter or around the same time as the full-fidelty module.

@TonyRS The T-45 is a free mod you can download and play.

RAZBAM Situation Post Archive (will be deleted)
Mike Force Team replied to Rhinozherous's topic in RAZBAM
@Oban When there is a private disagreement between businesses, which one aired grievances, became public interest in DCS community. For a problem to persistent over a year, something seems amiss. Razbam airs an announcement on X or in discord while ED stays silent. Two CEOs that have been in business together for years can't solve their problems? This situation is not passing the smell test. Also, people who purchased Razbam's modules do not know if their planes might be deprecated from the DCS platform or not. What is done in darkness eventually comes to light. In the meantime, it is a matter of waiting to see what happens next. -

Since ED has not released any new updates, there is likely more than is being revealed. I agree with everyone expressing the frustration over the lack of clarity. Using gossip and questionable sources for questionable information is not managing customers' expectations. -

While the outcome, if it is true, is not what we hoped for, we know where we stand and can move forward. I find it odd, even strange, that RZ and ED could not solve their differences. Perhaps egos and pride might have been factors. -

The final action we can, or likely to, expect is for Razbam's modules to be fully deprecated for the DCS website. What will also give us closure and resolution is when we hear something official from ED. -

@AndyJWest We are in a long term "wait and see" situation. Save for ongoing circular arguments we read on this forum topic and the passage of time, we are likely to see the persistent stalemate. -
@NineLine You are keeping us in suspense. We want to share in the fun the beta testers experienced. Once a release date is revealed, I am certain the mig-29 will be very popular. Mike Force Team

@Hammer1-1 At this point in time, I would say that ED might cut Razbam loose and end the relationship. If the two companies can't solve the prolonged stalemate, then time to go their separate ways. -
