Disregard .. operator error…

Mouse stuck in VR window and cannot move out to interact with other windows to clear settings with other programs during play. Specifically with voice attack/viacom pro not communicating. Mouse confined to window is not selected in system options. I am completely reinstalling due to a crash on windows 11 with a reset on many systems. Use a Pimax crystal with openxr for graphics. AMD processor and rtx 4090 GPU. I do have hand tracking enabled in Pimax headset… JR dcs.log

My issues were solved by the use of the local dimming feature. My issue was an overall fogging of the eyepieces not just the left one.sorry if this is not much help..

Had no Issues with the NVG display and got the update to enable FFR/DFR features on Crystal headset. Upon starting the NVGs in the F18 module, Noticed a black shaded mask in the headset display similar to the attached picture. Any ideas how to edit/ change NVG configuration to make this display normal? If this is a new problem I can post appropriate files for troubleshooting.

I'm not seeing issues anymore. It has cleared up..

Well I believe this is just a headset issue. I did not think so at first because only happened in Night missions. However, The crystal has a feature in it called local dimming. it is hidden in settings and you have to dig by Cntrl Q to locate it. I found this in the discord channels. After trying all three settings the highlight setting would have the clearest views during night operations and still have great views on NVGs. The daytime graphics are great. If you spent any time looking into this matter I apologize for wasting your time. Thanks anyway for the work you guys do.. JR

Have a fog condition onset during night ops. Goes away with NVGs on and when lights are turned on Bright in cockpit and the taxi light. Have a new Pimax Crystal. This did not happen with the Reverb G2. Tried different settings with the Backlight option slider, Made ittle difference. I have not Figured out the screenshot from within the headset, as it does not work like Windows mixed reality. I have attached what i could for files... Fixed it.. was looking to bind in the F18C module and not the UI layer. Thanks for pointing that out Baldrick33..

Zoom in vr doesn't work at all. Posted previously. No response yet.

Performed latest update today and lost zoom and vr center features with throttle binds. Rebind settings in virpil throttle and zoom would not work. keyboard binds worked only for vr center not zoom. Performed long repair to dcs no change. Had to respond to work call in so I cannot post a dcs log at this time. Can post tomorrow if it cannot be reproduced.. have 4090 with G2 headset..

That's not correct. We flew the last one where you attempted case 3 landing while I sat on the boat following on the guide so we knew no steps were skipped... you were the only flier....

Sorry just saw this.... Yes the Audio to desktop was disabled. I have done multiple updates on software in the few weeks working with DCS and the new hardware. somewhere along the line the echo quit. Cannot pinpoint where...

No sonic wave...it seems the realtek is starting the same time the hp reverb boots. There is a conflict with the two. I can stop the echo by muting the realtek app in windows sounds settings but it reboots next time you restart the reverb g2...

Performed all the suggested details to cure this. Nothing fixed. I decided to try redownload of the driver from Nvidia. This cured the echo that has been in all the devices I had. The monitors, the headsets i even had a Bose headset that would not connect properly... This worked for about an hour and the computer crashed and echos returned.... I downloaded the studio driver vice the gamer driver and have had the set running about two hours so far...

Do the realtek drivers and the Nvidia audio drivers conflict? Is anyone of these better to use?

I performed a repair again on DCS and did that did nothing to the issue. I edited the file to .1 , .1 vice 1, 1 and the black mask border is gone. Thanks for your time in guiding me to the file and the specific data set.. JR

I will check the settings on mask. If it has not moved any I will Then perform a repair. I don't recall making any adjustments in dcs. Thanks for reply.. Good info to know.
