  1. This banding is the limitation of having 8bits per color Channel. You can try to blur the image in Photoshop or Gimp: those lines will stay. ED would have to implement some kind of dithering to get rid of it.
  2. no, i dont think so. that problem is exclusive to the su-25t i guess. the vikhrs of the ka-50 come off the tubes with the right angle. but some missiles are very slow and fall to the ground.
  3. So, i finally managed to reproduce this. you can fast forward to the part where i start attacking the bunkers. the first missile already shows this behaviour, then the 4th and another one aswell. you can also see that these missile are way slower than usually (250kph, as seen on the 2nd screenshot above). Vikhr Fail.trk
  4. no, i checked this. when i fire a vikhr with the laser off it does not make such a narrow turn to the ground. Furthermore as you might be able to see on the 2. screenshot the smoke the vikhr produces before it starts spinning is much shorter on the one dropping to the ground than the one working normally. thats because it was very slow. and that should not be caused by anything that has to do with the laser.
  5. hmm strange i tried to replicate it but when you want it to happen it doesnt :smilewink: but i can definitely say that it wasnt the crosswind cause there was none. and even if a vikhr loses laser guidance it slowly turns to the ground. but this vikhr came very slow out of the launch tube and made a narrow turn to the ground. well, I'll look if it happens again and will post a track then.
  6. I just noticed that sometimes my vikhrs turn to the ground immediately after launch. this never happened to me in BS1. Is that a feature simulating defective vikhrs? it happens with roughly 2 of the 12 missiles and i am very shure that they were within the guidance beam. Here are some screens where i ripple-fired 2 vikhrs: one went for the target and one hit the ground. Edit : I forgot to say: this was the 1.1.2.1 beta for black shark in DCS World
  7. Thank you, that explains a lot!
  8. I always get this message (in 1.1.0.9) when i rearm and load for example a cbu-105 on a station where there was previously none. Then in the dsms under my CBU it says "ALN UNS" instead of "RDY" and i cant drop it. What do I have to do to make it "RDY"?
  9. I made some stereoscopic 3d shots (they have to be viewed cross-eyed. so the image for the left eye is on the right and vise versa)
  10. oh i see. ^^ the quetion was probably not so smart.
  11. when reading through the FAQ is saw this: Q: Will we be able to use Weapon X? A: If the real 3.1 A-10C use the weapon, chances are you will. If it doesn't, probably not. Do note that a weapon having been tested with an aircraft is not necessarily the same as the weapon being actively used by operators of the aircraft. A-10C payloads in the simulator are based on information from the United States Air Force. (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=955106) i have searched the forum but havent found a discussion about it and google has not helped either. Does anyone know what weapon is referred to here?
  12. Ive just tested the beta patch and noticed that this bug has been fixed
  13. ok thanks for clearing things up. but im still a little confused because there is river coming the large lake near krasnodar-Pashkovsky and i followed it and it had this issue. but at some point it became a smaller river with a different water shader (smaller waves etc) and after that point point the water looked just fine although the height of the terrain is the same. so there seems to be the option to implement different water shaders with different water heights. Or are the smaller rivers a totally differrent thing?
  14. Hi there i'm new to the forum and having a lot of fun playing DCS Warthog but theres a little graphical glitch i noticed(nothing big but anyway): I noticed that in some rivers/lakes the water appears to be below water level. for example at the large lake near krasnodar-Pashkovsky: if fly over the water near the terrain in f11 view it looks like the water goes under the terrain. its hard to explain and on a screenshot it looks normal but in motion it looks weird. I noticed this in FC2 aswell. i searched the forum and found this thread about it but I think that people just didn't get his point: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60167 i mean i understand that the water consits of only 2 polygon for the whole map but on the coast to the sea it looks fine only on some river/lakes the shader makes the water to look like its 50m under the terrain and likes theres nothing in between. if you shoot into theses lakes the impacts appear to be above the water (where the water should be) and also if you fly above these lakes it looks like you can fly a little lower but you crash into the water before you expect it. has anyone else noticed this?
