Dang, third or fourth time a charm! No, I loaded the new GPU over my old 3080ti drivers, so should I do a complete driver cleaning then reinstall the latest drivers? I do have the MT exe installed, I guess I just don't have it setup to load into it properly, and I wasn't aware of the page file issue, which I will research and figure out both later this morning. Can't thank you enough for your help with all this! Thankyou FR4GGL3, I have no idea why the pagefile would be set to zero, I have never messed with it. But I'll darn sure fix it!

Ok, I'm getting closer! I tried running DCS in 2D with Pimax Play in the background P51 worked and the F14 crashed the app twice. So, I turned off Pimax Play completely and the F14 loaded without any problems. So now what do you think I should do? Thank you all for the help so far, I would have never got this far without it.

I did 5 runs with Cinebench on both CPU & Open GL back to back both ran fine. Max CPU temp was 90C Max GPU temp was 61C Average FPS 255, CPU average was 3600cb. I'm having a problem that seems to be above my pay grade, so I thought I would ask those who have forgot more about pc's than I'll ever know. I recently upgrade my pc to a ASUS ROG Strix Z790 mb, ASUS Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, Intel i7-13700 CPU, 32 GB DDR5 ram, and a Pimax Crystal light. The problem I'm having is DCS is crashing back to the desktop when trying to load anything to do with the F14, it starts to load then freezes goes black for 10-15 seconds and crashes, it will load the Mustang it seems without any problem though. I'm running with openxr and the Pimax XR, most of my setting are Medium to high, no Ultra settings. the frame rates with the Mustang are around 70 and even when it starts to load an F14 the framerates aren't tanking, it's like a freeze then crash. FYI, I'm having the same problem in MSFS, but I can run IL-2 flawlessly. I stress tested both the CPU & GPU and they tested fine. I know this is hard to trouble shoot, but any suggestions are worth a try. Thx

Yes, I'm sure it is, and I really don't expect it to be done unfortunately. It was just a minor complaint on a really cool plane, sure hope the F4 cockpit does look like it's age, or we'll be guessing what the buttons are for!

Definitely not a fan of the worn-out cockpit switches & buttons! Would much rather they were clean, clear and easy to read, if you want to have a download available with worn out controls that's fine just don't think it should be sold like that.

Yes, I did that still haven't heard anything back from winwing. Was just curious if this is a common problem, and if there was some better way to get in touch with tech support than the 100 letter support ticket form!

Just curious as to what's the best way to get support/new spring, from Winwing other than their ridiculous 100 letter "contact us" form on their website. Has anyone else had one of these springs break? The setup is only 8 months old and certainly hasn't been overused or handled roughly in any way. Thanks for any advice on this problem, but I'm fearing weeks of waiting to get a replacement part. Thanks

Has anyone else experienced a problem where their toolkit menu won't open? I am using the latest version of 1.14, it says it's active at the top of the app, I can see fps counter is running in the sim, but I can't open the control menu. Should I just reinstall? Thanks

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for the Winwing, Simapp, I have the Orion 2 Max, everything I find on youtube is more on reviews of the actual product rather than the Simapp. I haven't used the Simapp before as it seems very confusing, but I'm having hell trying to get buttons and such to be recognized in DCS and IL-2. I had also remembered seeing somewhere that you can limit the buttons recognized for when flying for WW2 are planes. WInwings customer service is absolutely nonexistent, other than the feel and quality of their HOTAS I'm not thrilled Winwing as a company. Thank you for any help, I appreciate it.

Hello all, I recently received my Orion2 HOTAS Max, which I'm very impressed with the quality of these controllers. I am though somewhat overwhelmed with all the multitude of buttons on the throttle body. Are there any good tutorials on setting it up, I have searched youtube but all I seem to find are reviews and assemble instructions. I would be happy with just a blank button mapping template so when I assign one, I can record it, or even just to know which button is which. Thank you very much, for any direction on this. I fly mostly the War birds P51, SF, P47, but just purchased the F14, F18.

Has anyone else had the problem with WMR + G2 + Openxr, when I load DCS in Openxr it seems to load fine but I end up with no video just audio in my headset? The game is running on the monitor in vr but nothing on the G2 headset. Thank you

Ok, so I'm not really getting how this whole steam or native DCS thing works. I purchased all the DCS content I have so far from Steam, "don't know if that's good or bad" didn't even know there was a difference at the time. So now I want to purchase some new content like the F14, which is sold on Steam, but the campaigns aren't sold on steam, and say incompatible with steam! So how do you work this scenario? I thought I should ask this question as I have pre-ordered the Orion Max Hotas. I only fly the WW2 planes currently and was curious if this stick and throttle will work well for that application or should I be looking at something else instead? Thanks for any feedback on this!
