I want to start by saying that I am not a pilot but I had some helicopter flying experience and I would like to know if you also have the same impression flying helicopters on dcs. Right now I have purchased the ah64, mi24 and ka50 modules as well as tried the uh60 mod. What seems very strange to me is the too unstable behavior of the helicopters when I am on the ground and taxiing. My feeling is that these big beasties are slightly underweight; for example the mi 24 which weighs about 10 tons gives a strange swinging sensation (I have watched all the possible videos and never seen swinging in turns) and the same goes for the ah64. I find this really annoying and unrealistic. from personal experience an helicopter on the ground with collective down it is stationary like a rock. Do you also have the same feeling? On the ka 50 and uh60 the thing is better but on ah64 and mi24 is terrible.

Excuse me but I still do not understand extensively what BS3 consists of. Is there any official ED communication about it? -
Maybe the 14th of June the day of the cease-fire?

So many weird map choices while avoiding the most obvious choice.
dr.barber replied to truebrit's topic in DLC Map Wish List
Desert maps are endlessly sad. In any case, in Syria there are the sea, the mountains and the desert which make it a very diverse map. Then there's Cyprus, which is a disputed island, Israel, Jordan, etc. And pretty much every dcs plane or helicopter has flown over that territory from Gazelle to mi24, ka50, ah64d, f16, f15, mig21, mig29, su27, su33, l39, su25 and a10. I've had this map for over 6 months and I think I've only explored 10% of it, each time you discover something new. No the map of Syria is not beautiful it is fantastic! Iraq could be interesting but it would be really boring... Among other things, razbam is developing two new modules for this map: the tucano and the pucarà; the mb339 is also on the way, as well as the a4. I think that most users of DCS are fans of planes and helicopters and not of individual conflicts, so more planes means more fun! -
The only necessary map is the Balkans one! It s the only one that goes perfectly with everything they have built from the carrier to the mi24!

Hi, I saw this book but I didn't have the chance to read it: Frecce Tricolori: L'arte del volo acrobatico. It should be interesting but I think it is only in Italian.

Which of these helicopters would you like to be considered as the next module to be developed? I've put in the list modules with only attack capacity or poor transport capacity. I'm curious to know what you think. Or maybe you feel more the need of a beautiful transport helicopter?
