  1. Yes it does. On a side note, welcome to the head tracking world. From this point on you'll never fly without TrackIR and forever you will be pondering "Why the hell did it take me that long to get one..."
  2. I tried the zoom with the right slider but it wasn't very intuitive. Now I'm using the shifter (the bottom button on the stick) + TRIM hat up and down for zoom. Works much better!
  3. I wasn't trying to offend you either or discredit your excellent work by no means. I was merely implying that you have stated a fact which is incorrect (Having an X52 Pro setup without modes switching is impossible). Give Jack's profile a go and see how it performs. I did try both yours and Jack's and found out it was a lot easier for me at least to memorize the HOTAS commands on Jack's profile and it seemed to resemble the "original" A-10 HOTAS configuration almost 1 to 1. Both profiles are excellent and of course a personal preference is involved in those type of things and to each his own. Apologies if I came across as offending or rude. It wasn't my intention at all :)
  4. While your profile is very nice. The above statement is incorrect to the core. Jack's profile did exactly that (no need for modes switching AT ALL) and after trying Jack's profile and yours, I must admit Jack's felt more true to life and was more enjoyable to play with and engage combat in.
  5. The profile I made is exactly the profile Jack uses. It nullifies the "MODES" switch and adds mouse bindings to the ministick. The rest of the profile is Jack's LUA file found in his thread. It worked perfect for me up until a week or so ago when I replaced my 52 with a TMWH. You should follow Jack's instructions and just use the file I linked you and you would be perfect. You'll have to re-bind some keys in game (trim, DMS, CMS) but other than that everything is normal.
  6. I've converted it to use in my X52 prior to getting the TM Warthog :) Here's the updated file: http://www.rendezvaux.com/SFJackBauerA-10CPRO.rar
  7. Punch the quantity in either the UFC or the CDU and then hit the OSB next to QTY. It should punch that number in. After that click Save and continue as planned.
  8. Just a question, Are you required to uninstall the previous drivers and install the new ones or just install over the current drivers? Thanks for the help :)
  9. I have no problems with beta 4 besides the SPI HUD indicator offsetting which makes shooting targets with the gun a PITA.
  10. This.
  11. As I've mentioned in a different thread, For ED it's almost a no brainer, producing an F-16 module will put the final stamp on the death of Falcon4 on all of its variations. A mass hoarding of the Viper community will commence bringing not only many more faces but alot of money. Even the most dedicated F4 player acknowledges the high fidelity of the DCS series (Ka-50 & A-10) and this is the exact thing they are looking for. Some of them are already here for the A-10. I might be wrong but this is just my opinion. I wouldn't mind having the F-16, F-15, F-18 or even an F-4 or an F-14. Or any other fixed wing for that matter! ED continues to amaze me with their products and I will gladly spend my money on them! :)
  12. You are too sensitive, honey :joystick:
  13. I strongly disagree. You always get quick answers at any time.
  14. Hey there Mik75 and welcome aboard. Before getting my TM Warthog, using an X-52Pro I found SF-JackBauers profile very intuitive and after a few days of practicing you'll memorize everything. Here's Jack's profile: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=58484 You can also try StrongHarm's excellent profile for the X52Pro (You might need to convert it if you have the standard X52): http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=59208 I like Jack's profile due to the fact it completely nullifies the use of "Modes" and tries to mimic the real A-10 HOTAS to the max of its capabilities using the X52 available buttons, sliders and axis. Hope this helps! :D
  15. Having different serial #'s makes sense, But I thought the whole "package" is a single SKU hence has the same S/N. Guess the guys at WarthogWorld have to change their serials database to Throttle serials only. Since apparently there are 2 unique S/Ns for both stick and throttle :)
  16. Hey guys, I received my brand new TM Warthog HOTAS a week ago and it's been working flawlessly. However I noticed something quite odd, the stick has an S/N of 1741 while the throttle has the S/N of 1920. Aren't those supposed to be identical across the board? Just wondering...
  17. I own an X45, X52, X52Pro and as of last week, TM Warthog. I've had a chance to mess with all the HOTAS systems out there (CH, TM, Saitek's X65F, Logitech ect`). I've only had the TM Warthog for a week and I can safely say its the most accurate and best feeling system I've put my hands on. It's the first system I actually bothered to build a wooden clamp for center mounting and boy it feels great. I love the TM Warthog and given the fact you are about to dish out a good amount of money on it, I'd go with it. On a side note, I'll never touch anything from Saitek ever again. All 3 of my owned systems failed less than a year after I bought them. Surprisingly the X45 is the only one that actually still somewhat works.
  18. Woot! Here's what I did : Made a 4cm C clamp-like from plywood. Drilled the holes on the top plate and just stuck it on my chair. It takes some pressure to slide it all the way in which means its pretty stiff and doesn't move at all! I used my PS3 package stuffed with 6x1.5literes bottles of water and just put the throttle on top! Works pretty sweet and damn flying center stick feels a whole of alot better!
  19. I'll use your method LeLv! I can build a clamp like wooden mount from spare plywood I have! Looks like the easiest solution without to much hassle and just a bit of wood cutting! Not too bad :) Thanks for the idea
  20. Hey guys, I have no idea how to approach this hence why I'm asking in this forum. I want to build a center stick mount for my spanking new TMWH. I found an excellent "base" for the center stick mount which would also make it portable. It's an HERCULES guitar stand (tripod) as shown in the picture here: From my measurements it looks like I have to extend the main "arm" another 7cm. On top of it I want to mount this : I know I'll have to remove the stick's base plate which is no problem. But what will I need to put on the tripod that will hold the stick base without welding or anything complicated... I appreciate any help :) as I've mentioned earlier I have absolutely no clue on how to tackle this on my own!
  21. Just got my TM Warthog a couple of days ago. Had some time to install and play around with it! I love that thing...I can't even describe how much! I was wondering though, My speed break switch can lock on the "forward" position, but cannot lock on the "backwards" position. What I mean is that if I push the switch forward it will stay in that position even after I remove my finger, but when I do the same in the "back" position it doesn't stay there, it will return back to center. Is that normal? I couldn't find anywhere in the manuals whether its by design or not! Thanks :)
  22. You can store your targets as markpoints using the TGP prior to initiating an attack. If you are getting coordinates of enemy forces not through the JTAC then write them down, create a new waypoint or markpoint using these coordinates and slave your TGP to STPT. Regarding the bearing callouts. I think someone in these forums posted once that all calls are relative to YOU. I might be wrong tho.
  23. I did some tests on this and found out that if I run the simulation with "Administrator" elevation the replays won't get corrupt. I did a test mission, twice for each setting and the results were the same. Ramp start, Take off, kill 3 trucks with Mavs, kill 2 tanks with LGB and gun down 1 IFV. Running as "administrator" resulted in prefect playback both times Running without resulted in the track being corrupt even before shooting the first maverick. Don't know if its related but thats what happens to me. Running on Win7 x64.
  24. I'm closing on 30 and I ran around the house like a little girl yelling "Omg I has it!". I'm already glad :D About the firmware update. Whats the procedure on that?
  25. Ordered from SCSimulations! Thanks for the help :)
