  1. That's what I was talking about Battlefront (and I do not work for it, only respect their work), it's a publisher different, very different from Ubi Soft. Check the games that publish battlefront and you will understand what I meant
  2. See http://www.combat-helo.com Regards
  3. I don't know what are you talking about
  4. I say because Battlefront is not an "usual" publisher, they let freedom to developers to create their product.
  5. Why don't you use http://www.battlefront.com for publishing FC?. They sell online and It have some great games like Combat Mission series, Dangerous Waters or T72 Balkans in Fire.
  6. Yes, ED always supported their customers, but they did not hear us about the SF problem. I bought the game, I bought FC and I have more problems with the "legal" FC that a Pirate has. That's not the way to fight the piracy, you can bet for it. A "hard to break" protection system is a challenge for the hackers and crakers and always is broken, so, why spend money and time in that absurd protection systems?. People who will buy a game will do it in any case, and people who will pirate a game will do it in any case. It's a bad thing that ED loose sales for the SF and the limited activation system
  7. That could be great, like Longbow 2...
  8. The Starforce for the Fc was a bad idea, specially for the 5 activations. I think that ED will loose more sales for the Starforce than the Piracy. Anyway, all the games that uses Starforce were pirated, so... I have bought the FC, but Sf is not the best idea to prevent piracy, Starforfe "****s" the legal users. Regards.

  10. The Starforce system is also for the add on or only for the full version?
  11. Doing a big printed manual as standard, and expecting the same price for it, just won't happen any more. If there is a future to big printed manuals, it lies with enthusiasts like Nic Cole printing them and selling them separately. I'm sure there are members of the community who would be happy to write additional material not available in the basic game documentation - Shepski did some for the Digital Aspirin. http://www.lomac-manual.com If you want big manuals again, as a community we have to bite the bullet and pay what they're worth . . . . . and not everyone will. Some enthusiasts will, and that's great . . . . but we can't ask the developers, publishers, and gaming shops to include them as standard any more - it's just not economical. v1.1 will apparently include much more comprehensive documentation than did the previous versions of Lomac . . . . . and I hope that ED and Nic Cole can come to some kind of arrangement for future products :) YEs, that's what I meant. Big manual and pay a bit more. If Sonalist do it (500 pages), I think it's possible for everyone. http://www.battlefront.com/products/dw/index.html I'd pay for 1.1 with manual 50 or 60€ (may be more), I'm sure it worths
  12. I don't care if they use Visa or Paypal download, but I suppose that Visa is more "universal" because you don't have to register in Paypal. But I'd really like a CD version with a BIG printed manual, I would pay for it like a complete new game, or more. It's the same that Sonalist will do with Dangerous Waters, a game that will be distributed online. May be you should consider this option. Regards.
