  1. ….that would result in a trimmed out state at a different speed.
  2. …and thats exactly what I mean, whenever I try to trim out for a certain speed I overshoot the right setting, even by a small click. I never said I flew the trim, thats what you apparently read into it.
  3. Care to explain yourself? If I want to fly 450kts level, I’ll have to trim to keep it level at 450kts. If I want to keep level at 500kts I once again have to trim to keep it stabilized at that speed and level. So you fly level at a certain speed with continuous control input?…..hope you dont find that acceptable irl.
  4. first of all many thanks for your quick reply and explanation. I do not question the behaviour of the sim at all, I do understand that the F-4 needs constant trimming. I have flown aircraft irl that needed your thumb on the trim constantly. So its not the actual amount of trimming you need to perform, its the sensitivity of the trim. I often find myself overshooting the equilibrium by just one click of trim, to then have to trim the other way and overshoot again. Now, this probably also has to do with my setup, no doubt. It just would be nice if I could dumb down the sensitivity of my “one click of trim” by, say 80% of what it is now. Now….I hear you think…..this would take away from the realism….well…..I don't think so, see in real life I can feel the stick-force getting lighter as I trim, unfortunately my stick doesn't have this feature, so to mimic the same flyability, I’d have to give up a bit of realism to get the same effect. Hope this makes sense. Anyways, on a final note…..what a superb module you have all build, just love flying it!…..many thanks!
  5. @Zabuzard would you happen to know if the developers are looking into an option to make the trim input less aggressive? Although I love flying the Phantom, I still think the trim is too coarse.
  6. @Notso…..just get this whole thing settled over a game of Crud, Combat Rules…..sorted….
  7. Unless you are in breach of contract and said contract stipules witholding payment as a legal step. Just out of interest, if your boss doesnt pay you, do you go and complain to your boss, or do you complain to one of the companies your company supplies to?? edit: apologies @BIGNEWY, our posts just crossed.
  8. There is an easy fix…..RAZBAM-Management PAY your employees, and address the reason why one of your clients felt legally entitled to withhold payment. Harrier, Mirage and F-15E all broken now.
  9. Same thing, I use an extra TM joystick for slewing, but it does randomly stop. Deflections in the Axis configuration menu are all good, so its not the joystick.
  10. …and yet these modules are still for sale without a disclaimer. It might not be illegal, but sure is unethical behaviour.
  11. It’s not about constant trimming, I totally agree with you. I love flying the F-5, which needs your constant trimming as well. It’s about how fiercely the trim reacts to your trim input.
  12. I think Relayer nailed it. In real life you bring the stick to where you want it to keep the attitude you want to and then trim towards this new state until you dont feel any force on the stick anymore. Without feeling the stick force, as in a sim, you trim until you dont see the pitch change anymore, its a bit of guessing till you get it right. Problem is you easily “overshoot” and have to trim the other way again. A larger trim range (so more trimming needed i.e. “less trim per click”) might make a sim more realistic. Although this might be different than the real thing, it still might make it more realistic. In the end, it still is a simulator we are dealing with. @Super Grover…..what a great module by the way…..absolutely love it, the immersion is phenomenal in VR, many thanks!!!
  13. I just switch Jester off when going into a dogfight…also helpfull to get rid of him when using the PAVETACK pod….
  14. Agree, the trim is too aggressive, hard to fine-tune.
  15. Well….I might be looking in the wrong place, but where do I map the Target Contrast switch (black-hot/white-hot)?
  16. Does anybody know the sequence how to use Shrikes from the front cockpit yet? Can’t really find it in the manual. I’ve made a mission with SA2 and SA6’s, but cant get the Shrikes to do anything, let alone launch….?
  17. Quite simple, Nineline wrote “we are still hopeful it will be resolved”. This quite simply indicates you are not 100% sure it will be resolved; fact. Therefor there should be a disclaimer.
  18. Any news on the F1M? ….maybe a few teaser screenshots? F1 still my favourite module
  19. ….which Flower Show?…..are you referring to the Chelsea Flower Show? Thats 21st to 25th of May. So is HB releasing on the 21st or 25th??? I hate flowers……
  20. Very good and clear clarification and fully understand the delay, take your time. And best wishes to the long-covid sufferers amongst your team, its a horrible thing to have to go through.
  21. Too late….the SPRING sale just started…..winter is over……
  22. ……….well, I’m getting ready for a download this evening…..
  23. No, I tried simple communication on and off in the settings menu and also have all three; “communications menu” / “U radio” / “U V radio” mapped. It works fine in all other servers and when I start mid air, just not on the ground after a setup and only on the 4ya aerobatics server. Its not a problem, I’ll just start mid-air, land and them configure the aircraft.
