  4. Would it be possible for you to 'spruce up' the cockpit textures (wear-and-tear, dirt, etc.), or release the cockpit model for the community to do? Also, it would be nice if the rotor-spoolup-time could be extended a bit.

  8. Like all freeware mods, in 'C:\Users\*YOUR_NAME*\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft'.
  9. I've found out, how to change the water transparency: In the 'DCS World\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\terrain.cfg.lua' you can set a value for 'seaOpacity', in my case I've used 10 for instance. This gives you this output. Sadly there is no way to change this parameter in the Marianas file, since it is crypted (I don't own other maps so I don't know about theirs).
  10. I don't know what you think about the color of the cockpit, but in my opinion it's a little too dark compared to the image below.
  11. Actually I don't know, what has happend. I've had that issue on Saturday and now, two days later, the issue removed it self somehow, without further a do.
  12. In my opinion the current water transparency watervisibility is too high, as you can see in the screenshot below. In real-life you couldn't even see the fuselage of the ship a few feet below the water surface. I hope ED will change the transparency visibility soon, so that DCS gets another step closer to what real life looks like.
  13. It seems the Hornet's engine exhaust cover size has been reduced by mistake in any of the latest updates: I didn't use any mods for this image.
  14. I've painted the used spots in orange: null More detailed: Anyway I recommend you (and anyone else) to wait a little while, untill I'm finished with the new paintkit. The new paintkit is not supposed to have other UV's, but it will have better weathering. I hope I could help you!

I've just updated the Mod to V1.4:null - Better Main Rotor blurring - Added protable Fuel tank - Added fuel tank skins for both SH-3G skins - Added Window wippers - Changed static folded units to flying aircraft to remove bug => Now you can insert the folded models from the Static Models - Helicopters page as well, this should solve the rotation-bug.

  17. I think I've figured out what is causing the problem: If you look closely at the unit (via F12), you get those problems until you restart. Otherwise I don't have these errors.... Sorry, I can not give better advice! I've been trying for a while, but for some reason I get these nice blurry tail rotors, but bad looking main rotors....

Next step will be to add external fuel tanks and to create the Westland Sea King. Have fun!
  21. It turned out it was my fault... ...I didn't set the cargo-release-triggerzone, so the task was not valid. So now everything is working as it should! :)
  22. Yep, I did. I set it to the position of the hook, and I also set the 'h_max_gear_hook' to 2.0, like in the Mi-24P (though, I don't know, what it stands for).
  23. Since this is a community mod, I need your help on how to get a sling load on an AI helicopter. I've been looking at some other ED helicopters capable of carrying cargo loads, I've copyied some parts of those scripts to mine, but with no success so far. So if you have an idea of how to give an AI helo the capability of carrying cargoes, please let me know.
  24. After I've finished work on the SH-3H (except the constantly growing amount of skins), I now come to the SH-3G. With the SH-3G, I try to bring the utility-Sea King to DCS.
