  1. Seems that the loading screen locks the render thread. For non-VR users this is ok, but for VR this is very bad because the image of each eye lost sync, hangs and gives a far from ideal experience. Openxr show an hourglass when this happens. I'm using the quest 2.
  2. The problem was my DIY stick, it uses a matrix for wiring the buttons, and this can cause ghost presses when multiple buttons is pressed at the same time, so trigger 1 + trigger 2 + weapon release are giving the effect of the undesignate press... I'll wire the buttons with shift registers when I got time! thanks for the help!
  3. My TGP lose lock (static or ground moving object) when I release the IR Maverick with manual lasing, it works only with auto lasing! maverick ir bug tgp lock.trk
  4. One thing I got in mind is that maybe DCS needs to last states to be able to calculate the next toggle position. As example, how DCS will know from HALF position, if you want to go from AUTO or FULL? After you click on the button, they know the last two positions it's half and full, so in the next cycles it will go half-auto-half-full-half-auto...
  5. I found out that the problem occurs also on the keyboard bind... so, it seems like a real bug and not a device specific problem.
  6. Hello! My "flap switch cycle" on the F18 binded to one of my throttle buttons doesn't work as expected. Even pressing many times the switch doesn't move. But if I use a mouse click to move it, the bind for the throttle start to work! Maybe it's a bug? Even creating a mission starting from the air, the button not work until I click with the mouse or I presso another keyboard bind, F key por example. I try to remove all the binds for the flaps and leave only the one I need, but it not solve the issue. In the input configuration file it shows as: ["d3017pnilunilcd2vd0vpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN19", }, }, ["name"] = "FLAP Switch - Cycle", } I have two Arduino Micro, one in my DIY Throttle and another with my DIY Stick, maybe there is some conflict between them and DCS? they have different names and different lua files for the configuration. I attached a image with the two configuration files in DCS Folder.
  7. I couldn't read the MFDs on my quest 2 until I found that we can bind a key for a VR Zoom, now I can use steamVR at 100% resolution (more fps) and being able to read the mfds in any situation.
  8. Hello! Do you guys think its worth upgrading a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 5 5600x for VR? with the R5 2600 I got 27ms of CPU frametime (from fpsvr) and 36F GPU Frametime. As I understand, my performance is being holded back by the CPU, because the cores used by DCS stay 90% all the time and the GPU never pass 50%. I want to make this upgrade to be able to reach at least 40FPS on the ground (actual 18-25 on the 2600). The frequency of the 2600 is 3.4ghz and boost at 3.9ghz, and the 5600x is 3.7ghz with boost at 4.6ghz.
  9. Hello! this is my first post! When I try to play DCS non-VR with my Quest 2 over oculus desktop (with link cable or airlink), I can see the white windows arrow but when DCS change it for the yellow crossair, it disappears from the view of the oculus, but still shows on PC. I'm talking about playing DCS without VR but with the quest 2 mirroring the desktop. Even without showing the yellow crosshair I can click ok. If I open the communications menu the pointer changes to the white arrow and it shows ok, but as soon as I close the comms menu, the pointer goes back to the yellow crosshair and disappear.
