Hello. I’m happy you finally sorted it out. The technique is working on the full image by default. VREM enable to filter effects for inner or outer quad view (all techniques) or cockpit/external view (VREM technique). Haze control is only controlling strenght of it.So there is no option other than playing with technique settings...

Because the technique is changing only the inner quad view. Can you check the settings of the technique ? Quad view target should be "all views" as below. Check also the settings for "Reshade technique in VR" option of VREM ?

It should work (even if sometime some technique are making the mod crashing...) Install it in reshade (that is download the folders in the githib link you put in the post above and put them into the folder "reshade-shaders" folder you will find in the place where DCS.exe is. Activate it in reshade, ensure the "activate reshade techniques in VR" in "Reshade technique in VR" option of VREM is ticked. In case of, click on "refresh" to see the effect in your VR display.

I'm glad to see you went through. Now you have to figure which technique and settings for doing "visor" effect. But what is the second check box ? is it the one to display technique in VR only ? It should work also. The purpose of this feature is to have the technique only for the VR view and not on the mirror view, to save resource. So when you tick it, effect should disapear from 2D view but reamain in VR view (maybe the "refresh" button need to be pressed.

You do it with the miror view. You need to display reshade menu. I’m not using steamVR, I have a Varjo Aero, that is supporting nativelly OpenXR.

I just checked to be sure, and the technique in VR are still working with the last version of DCS (I set colormatrix red for cockpit ony). the Alt+F5 is working also. So could you activate "debug messages..." in debug options of VREM activate the colormatrix_for_vrem technique in the 'home' activate "activate reshade techniques in VR" in "Reshade technique in VR" option of VREM save VREM settings relaunch game and go in cockpit for "instant action / Su25T / free flight.." for caucasus click on "capture frame" in debug options of VREM quit game post here reshade.log, DCS_VREM.ini, DCS_VREM_techniques.ini, ReShadePreset.ini that are in the same folder that DCS.exe, as your option.lua file that is config folder in the relevant DCS folder in "saved game"

Try to setup an obvious setting, like image in red, just to check if this is working.

Can you see changes when you select a technique like in the video ?

Good ! Is Alt F5 working also ? The techniques should stack each on top of the previous, regarding list order. But I would suggest to not use both technicolor versions, use the default one or the VREM one.

Did you select a technique, for example color matrix for VREM, then did you change some settings in the technique to change color in mirror view, then did you tick the option "reshade technique VR" to have the rendering on VR ?

You can try the "reshade technique in VR" option, and play with either "color matrix for VREM" or "technicolor2 for VREM" settings (of course you must select them at first) There are some people having game crashes when the "reshade technique in VR" is selected, but I can not reproduce... You can toggle on off the option in game with ALT+F5.

"How can I bring the Reshade overlay up in VR? " => you can't, unfortunatelly. You need to go to 2D mirror view to setup reshade setting. It's a bit painfull... "Trying to figure out why every map has a thick, circular haze ring when I have Haze set to Zero in Reshade." => can you create a track of the issue with Su25T and post it here, so I'll be able to reproduce ? It may be something more liked to other rendering than haze...

I has the same issue, solved only by restoring a full backup of my system disk. The USB trick did not work for my problem. But GPatricks wrote in Varjo discord ”I had a similar issue some time ago, after removing the VB and all Varjo related folders, deleted anything to do with Varjo in the Registry. Reinstalled, all was well.” Maybe it can help you ?
