Well I was at MAKS Wednesday till Friday and always took the Otdyh station... for friday, I knew big crowds are gonna be there, so I went from the center at 7am and got to the MAKS 1 hour before the flight programme started. I understand your grief with that shashlyk tent, but there was a big number of them - I never had to wait for more than 5 minutes...

MoGas I try to use PS as little as possible... just some cropping and maybe slight brightness or contrast adjustment. I didn't have the spoter ticket, cause I don't find it necessary at Zeltweg - good spots to shoot airplanes for free ;) I was just below the "spotter hill" some 30m left of taxiway by the fence Part 3 - MiG-15, Turkish Stars, Team Blanix, Saab 105ÖE

I use Sigma 50-500mm which is not considered really good... but I try to squeeze the best out of it... Attached to Nikon D300

just finished reading Ed Macy: Hellfire

Just finished this whirlybird for the SAM review. I must say that this was one of the most enjoyable models that I have worked with. The model is not without its flaws though, pretty basic cockpit with a bunch of equippment missing including IP decals, some filler was required during assembly but nothing drastic and I really had a go with scratchbuilding, wiring the rotor, multi-stage weathering,... enough of talk, here she is!
