Yes I am sure this is not happening. I did the 50% run by accident, every other time its been set to 100% even at 50% the plane has more than enough power to fly. I'm talking power loss that the stick all the way back is giving about 20% nose up. just enough to keep the plane flying but any turn loses height which cannot be got back. has not done it today so far and I have done 6 sweep missions. Not sure what it can be. I raised a ticket but as it seems to have resolved itself it will probably be closed. Thanks Alan

Hi, It was at 50% on this run I have not looked down as its normally full but this has happened many times and almost always on full thrust. saying that I have run the sweep 4 times today and its not done it. It may just have been a glitch. Alan

Not a fuel problem, it always happens after about 5 mins flight. When low on fuel fuel message flashes in the HUD. I hear the engine but its not powerful enough to do more than fly and if you turn and lose height its impossible to get back. stick is full back to maintain current height. have a lighting issue so my head tracker is not working well most of the time. I need to get some light in front of me so have not been looking around much. Thanks Alan

I have done this and gone into free flight, Thrust is working fine and dont get power loss, seems to be on the training missions or some, I have not tried them all. Alan

Just tried it again on full power with same results. within 5 minutes I am having to give full back stick to maintain level and lose hight every time I turn. I will try putting trim onto the hat switch and see if I can trim it out but in seems power related to me.

Yes if its a problem I can put one over the lense. but IR does appear very bright on the cam. I suspect it should be ok without. going to try the lamp first to see if that makes things better at night and if not order the parts for IR. Thanks Alan

Only flying for about 5 minutes, I have not got my head tracking fully set up yet so in a dog fight I am not looking at any gauges but fuel would normally appear in the heads up if it was low. Its normally left at full but had been doing landing and I had it set to 50 that time but it happens at 100% as well. I know the game is picking up the throttle but not sure how well. I stated a training mission with it set to zero and I was still flying around. I have remapped it a couple of times and it shows as working

Using the fighter sweep option to practice dog fighting but many times I am losing power after a shot while. I have saved a track where I have to do an emergency landing as had no power to climb. I have attached file in the hope someone can tell me what is going on ? Thanks Alan lost speed.trk

F16 viper what is the speed brake called ? I have been through the list of imputs to add one to my stick for the air speed brake but I cannot find the command to use in the list. can you tell me how it appear on the list ? Thanks Alan

My set up is low light and no IR. The no facetracknoIR works pretty well but I do intend to get a light source on me . while there is light from a window its fine but once it gets dark it does get worse as the light source is behind me. I will sort out a desk lamp. I might just build one of the IR trackers just to see which works best. Parts are cheap enough its just a case of build a frame or find someone with a 3d printers to make one for a better looking setup. My cam picks up IR well so that will not be a problem. Alan Alan

Thanks, Im going to take a few weeks to get used the dog fights again its been some years and I used to use MS combat fight sim so nothing was as real as it gets here. I do want to fly with others it seems like a great community here and I want to join in but I want to feel like I sort of know what im doing before I do that. Im flying the F16 viper and at the moment I struggle to get the plane down in 1 piece and still have not found the airbrake and afterburner on it. Hi all, Still new to this and find it hard to read the heads up displays and looking around with the top hat switch is pain. I downloaded AI track and open track but after messing for 2 hours could not get it to stop jumping around. These are free programs and it seems many are using them without any problems. Anyway I went for a paid for app FacetrackernoIR it tracks you face from a cam without the need for infra red headset and this is perfect. great tracking, smooth movement easy set up. you cannot ask for more. The cost was £3.02 would guess that's about $4. its the best money I have spent in a while. You should find videos on youtube for set up but I found it very easy. Alan

The f 16 shows as its there but is not available to choose in the options. and get the same this has been disabled message on start up Seems I had the F16 longer than I thought, the trial had ended. A clearer message on start up would have been easier to understand. Alan

Its seems to work really well in the videos I have seen. My cam does see IR so if it comes down to it and I have to USE IR I will make the IR headset myself. Trying to keep this as cheap as possible as had to by a new PC just to run DCS. Thanks Alan

Hi all, Anyone have an f 16 profile that works ? Just installed AI track and open track. AI track seems to be smooth and track my face well it sends the info to open track. I have followed instruction and created dead zones but even making these bigger than what was suggested still has the view flickering and changing where on the you tube video for MS flight simulator its all very smooth with no jumping. Does anyone have a working profile they can share of any suggestions ? The cam is 720 HD and 30 fps.

I resynced and restarted twice. I still get the same error ! now saying The web site is not available at the moment. However, you have saved authentication to continue working offline. allows me to load the sim without multiplayer but still says the f16 is not available. Alan

Hi, All my free trial seems to have ended early I got the message below: Authorization is valid for 2d 23h 59m The following DLCs are not authorized and will be disabled: F-16C bl.50 Anyone know who to get it back. I thought I have only used a week but may have lost track of time and the above suggests there is still 3 days of the trial left ? Thanks Alan

To be honest I am not sure of anything on the instruments. I know a few times I have had an alarm on the right hand side before this has happened but I have been to busing in dogfights to try zooming to see what it is. Im looking to get head tracker set up in the next few days so hopefully this will make thinks a lot easier for me. using the hat switch I struggle to get the view back to central once I have looked around and I dont have the zoom set right it either goes as far forward as possible or as far back as it can go so that needs sorting out. Have just been fighting for fun to see how f 16 works. Im pretty sure I will buy it once the trial ends so I will sort out the issues then. I have been trying to get a grip of the radar and targeting which is a steep learning cure so have not bothered with small issues like zoom. Thanks Alan
