  1. Turned out to be the Grippen mod I removed it and now I can connect to the public servers Thanks Joe
  2. This started happening to me recently also, every time I connect to a public server DCS crashes
  3. same problem, keeps telling me I can install them, I do, and the next time I restart I have the same thing
  4. haha, thanks Do I need to do anything to get the shut to open? or does it just open
  5. How do I bail out of the Spitfire and open my chute? do I have a chute? I assume here that it's possible? or do you just go down with the plane? just started flying war birds, so this is all new to me I'm use to just ejecting from a jet Thanks
  6. ah, interesting, thanks guys
  7. I'm wondering there's a way to control the radius of orbit for a circling AI bandit? It looks like the default it ~ 2.5 miles? Thanks
  8. Sabre, Removed mods, and it looks like I'm in business now! Thanks
  9. Sabre, 3 mods installed Gripen, Mig-31 & Su-35. I tried DCS repair, but that didn't fix it. I'll move the mods temporarily and see if that helps. Yes I have the F-18 and have been flying it lately I'll post a little later, Thanks for the response. ---- just curious is the Task Force Challenger mission suppose to be there?
  10. I was really looking forward to the campaign, unfortunately F1 doesn't put me in my FA-18, I can see everything else, but I can't actually fly my plane. I'm running the latest version of Open Beta. Possibly/Probably doing something really stupid? Any thought on what's going on? There's no F10 menu, and only the last mission BMF actually puts me in a FA-18 Hornet e.g. it's the only mission that appears to work. Tried a delete and reinstall, that didn't fix it either Thanks
  11. I don't recall there being a requirement that you run open beta? I have the same install issue.
  12. I may just break down and buy the F-16 winwing throttle :sigh: Anyone own this throttle, would you buy it again? any problems?
  13. figured it out `undesignate` for 3 seconds breaks the STT lock. Three seconds is a long time when WVR dogfight falcon_120, nice, hadn't thought of this. thanks
  14. If I'm flying against 2 targets, ACM high off-borsight locks the first target it sees. Is there a way to remain in ACM and swap to the other target i.e. break the STT lock and lock the other target? In TWS (non STT) you can undesignate and it will swap targets (assuming you have 2 locked). Undesignate in ACM drops you back to the previous scan mode TWS/RWS. I've tried to simply point LOS (line of sight) at the other target and `designate` but that doesn't work. I'd like to be able to fire an AIM9x at the first target, and then immediately swap (and lock) the second target for another shot, and then swap back if need be. I've also tried to uncage after hitting the first bandit, and the radar remains locked on the first (now dead) plane until it's practically hit the ground. How do you break a STT lock? Thanks
