  1. I like it :). I will add it to my Read list...
  2. Yeah that is true, I think is the same with every gizzmo we buy to fly... I started using a simple stick, with just two buttons (Sidewinder Pro). I needed nothing more Then I purchased a stick with a slider for the throttle and a twist grip for the rudder (Sidewinder FFB2). Then I cannot fly anymore with my old trusty stick. Then i purchased Track IR, and again, now I cannot fly without it. And lastly I purchased rudder pedals. Same story. Finally, when the FFB2 stopped working, and having just purchased DCS-A10C, I pulled the trigger on the TM Warthog and ..... you guess it. I cannot live without the hotas now LOL Nice flying using KB and mouse only, though.
  3. :) I still remember the sound of the Phantoms taking off ... raw power ... and the black plume of smoke when they throttled back from reheat to mil-power. Nothing sounds like a J79 :)
  4. Thanks for the explanation Tango. Today I've learned something new ;)
  5. Yeah Churrofighter is the other nickname for it ... the EF pilots say that those who call it that way, are jealous of it. Mostly C15 pilots :D "No le busques tres pies" :music_whistling: Anyway, I don't know how to translate that into english  Well you can just call it E-25 ("E" comes from Entrenador (Trainer)), the official designation in the Spanish Air Force
  6. Regarding the F104 startup video... what causes the whale sound when the pilot reduces throttle. The engine intakes?
  7. :) Culopollo translated into english is Chicken butt. I'll rather call the plane Mirlo, but yeah spanish pilots have a extrange sense of humor nicknaming planes. These are nicknames, not official names: F-18: Bizcocho (Sponge Cake) Mirage F1: Abuela (Grandma) Mirage III: Plancheta (Iron, from ironing clothes, not from the metal) Eurofighter: Super Plancheta (Super-Iron) F-5: Bicicleta (Bicycle) F-104: Lapicero (Pencil) F-4: Ladrillo / Hierro (Brick or also, Iron from the metal) ...
  8. Os dejo la checklist en la lengua de Cervantes https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B72aKVjr7E2YblFhRlZEUDFLUVE/view?usp=sharing ____ The checklist in spanish
  9. Probably, it was done during the editing process. It shouldn't be difficult to do if you have a track. It is very simple to do, the most difficult thing is having a track that is not corrupted and then syncing both tracks to the frame. Overlaying is done (in most of the edition programs) by just dragging into the "storyline" and resizing the secondary video.
  10. Off course I would buy it.
  11. Poor young fellas. My condolences to their families. RIP brothers :(
  12. Speeds are in the attached images
  13. LOL, give me cyanoacrylate, a bit of tape and some paint and we'll got it up and running again. First, we will have to pick up the mission parts from the field though ;)
  14. I've got to try that in MP one day. Good find :)
  15. Nice find :) Yeah it will be awesome flying the 104 ... and the T33, (insert plane here) ... lol I want them all. Alcemos el vuelo, sobre el alto cielo, lejos de la tierra ...
  16. Preciosa Skin.
  17. I never tried performing the test with engine off, but I think if you move your Generator switch downwards (RESET) and then ON, it will reset the advisory (provided the rest of the system is configured properly). I will test that later :P
  18. I had the same symptoms that you are having Meyer, until the PSU just stopped working altogether. We share the same specs except for the processor, mine is an i7. A new PSU solved the problem so far. By the way I'm (9/zg26 Hipper) ;)
  19. SVTONY, are you, by chance, using the extended visibility mod ? I had that problem with another textures when using it... to fix it there was a file to update, but I don't remember which one
  20. Thats because you have a new plane every flight ;) my friends The batteries are not meant to be replaced every flight. Imagine the RL scenario: You might start the engines, and the remaining power of the batteries might be enough to last one flight in combination with the generator power if they were brand new. But once you landed ... you will be facing a very angry mechanic team and your CO's face would be red hot ... not a pleasant experience. After the yelling you would get grounded. That being said, this is a computer game. I don't think making a battery life simulator is necessary , is it?
  21. Ouch, my mistake sorry about that. My brain refused to register that part from the manual "9.3 Indicador de aforadores - con presión de trasvase:
  22. These two are probably already known, or are features pending to be implemented: 1. Trim indicators not working (Indicador compensadores) 2. Selector marcación de aforadores. I think it is not working. I cannot switch it off to change from FUS(ON) to FUS-CENTR.ALA (OFF) Question: Are the volume knobs reversed? In my system I have to turn them to the left to increase volume. I'm not sure in this A/C but i think the standard is the opposite direction. I might be mistaken. Regards :)
  23. Known problem. The same happens with the Hawk. No communications available at this point with both BETA aircrafts.
  24. +1 Another happy owner :) Finally I got her out for a spin. The alarm sound is anoying as it should be, and that stall shaker warning has saved my beacon already once when I got disoriented in a cloud. Gracias AvioDev :) outstanding job.
  25. A-10A Clickable Cockpit I think is 1 : 5 (AP:HEI), but I might be mistaken
