w.i.p Ground units too accurate vs air targets
simo-dj replied to schurem's topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
I made a new topic in another sections (i'll delete it asap). It happened that a Shilka in the new Germany Map destroyed me and my apache by shooting trough woods. It was very strange seeing those damn tracers coming out from the woods. I approached the SPAAA very low level and was a less than 30 feet high when, with absolutely no LOS i was shot down. I wondered if it was due to some bug coming from the new map or the ground units.. -
Thanks @admiki i thought was something like that. At this state i found George satisfying, but i hope this feature will be added in the upcoming updates. In my very modest opinion would be a great step towards a more realistic AI crew. Thanks again!

Hello everyone, I have George as my co-pilot and I would like him to aim his sensors and fire an Hellfire at a target illuminated by the laser of a JTAC or a drone. Is this possible at the moment? If so, how? I tried and tried but i wasn't able to do so. Does anyone know if there are any tutorials for this? Thank you so much to everyone and sorry if this topic has already been discussed before."

I'll give it a try! Who knows.. maybe this solution will fix all this radio traffic! Thanks again!

So, Let's wait and see.. And a big thank for taking time in helping me

Thanks for your kind answer @MAXsenna I tried with some searches but anything came out. It's almost 10 months i bought headphones to stop my wife being annoyed by the sim volume but the wingmen are now annoying me Thanks! I think it would be also more realistic hearing a wingman report "Mud spike, mech group at 10 o'clock..." or "tank group" or whatever rather than "mudspiking" every unit in this group. Since i am not alone in this request maybe the dev's will take a look at this even if it's a low level priority...

Hello everybody i tried to search this forum and it seems quite strange to me that anyone hasn't arealdy asked for this... And if it's already happened pls excuse me. In short, in ME i did a mission with me and 3 other ai controlled apaches. I created an enemy group with some tanks, trucks, some aaa's, infantry. When my flight group detects them all the wingmen spam continously their position. Something like "Mud spike, 9 o'clock etc". And it seems this happens for each unit composing the enemy group. So,let say there are 20units in this group, wingmen repeat mud spike message for each of them. Would it be possible to stop them spamming audio messages and communicate just the whole group position? Thanks a lot!

I really don't know if it's a matter of axis reset after the latest patch, but i noticed a tendency to roll left of the apache, despite trimming and so on. Today i'll take a look at axis, maybe is the reason. Did you noticed this annoying left roll as well, @IndyNavy? Or it's a totally different issue?

@TEMPEST.114 As you can see my skills are less than limited! I thought i posted in the main ME section, and, apologies to everyone. Maybe one of the moderators can shift this thread in the right section (apologies again) And forgive me because i wasn't as clear as i would. I created a mission in which ramp start the plane/helicopter and, when systems come to life the pilot can tune in a music radio and listening to a song while completing start-up procedures. Basically the steps are: -mission start -pilot start the vehicle -when radio come to life (my settings are NO EASY COMMS) he/she can choose to tune on a radio playing a song by entering freq and via F10 menu while completing start up I have a pool of 3/4 songs, no more. I'd like to hear a different song randomly chosen between these 3/4 songs.. IE i start a mission once and i hear a hard rock song, another start and i hear country and so on. I hope i cleared all this stuff. English is not my language. And @TEMPEST.114 thank again for your helpful answer and your kindness.

Hello everybody I created a mission where there is the possibility to tune to a music radio while in the base. So, tuning in the proper radio frequency and then selecting F10 on the radio menu you can listen to some music while your awaiting to end the ramp start and taxiing to runway. What i'd like to achieve is that, on each mission start, you get always different song. I guess "SET RANDOM FLAG VALUE" is involved, but still i am unable to "simulate" a real music radio. Can someone help? Thanks
