Here is a public document show that the NAVFLIR was implemented on the F/A-18C/D starting in 1989. The Navy did stop using them in 2002 according to this as well but the functionality remained. Would be nice to have the functionality.

I am sorry if this has already been asked or mentioned. I did a search on the forums and not much came up. Is there a plan to implement the CVRS on the F/A-18C? This would be a really beneficial debriefing tool for all the squadron groups within the community.

I’ll try it but I have a hard time believing that something that is never being called could somehow interact like this. I don’t have any mods that change the core dcs installation only things in the saved games folder. I’ll let you know how that goes

Like I said I made a plain vanilla mission just the super carrier and a hornet on Caucasus and still not carrier

Once I updated to 2.9 I could no longer get the super carrier to show up in a mission. Wether I am running the mission on a dedicated server or through the mission editor play button. I even made a brand me mission in Caucasus and just added a hornet to it. Running that mission though the mission editor allowed me to spawn into the hornet. And just showed me falling the 70ft or so to the water and splashing. On my main multiplayer mission all the aircraft spawns show up in the list and you can select it but once you spawn in the mission you fall from the sky.

The exterior lights on the F18 have giant orbs around them that penetrate through the aircraft and onto the other side. Also the lights seem to get brighter the farther you go away from the aircraft. The formation lights seem fine it’s just a problem with the position lights. If I look at the F16 those lights look like they should. Can we get the same lights on the 18.
