same folder as normal skin textures...look for "a-10c_cockpit.bmp" and "a-10c_cockpit_nigh.bmp". Those are the textures for external views.
If you'd like to edit In-cockpit-view panels, the folder is..."X:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C Beta\Bazar\A-10C\Model\Textures\A-10C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip"
Here's my Updated "Bang Bus" skin...of note here is the Turbofan Swirls, and witty gun instruction on nose tip. Let me know if anyone would like this skin, happy to share (it's a lot of state and U.S. pride; I know.)

A blog/online journal for the Hog community.
Maybe not too much on the technical side, but seems invaluable for keeping up with the Hog driver (& support) community. Hope everyone enjoys.

I didn't find a way to edit the .lua, I just edited the HGU55.bmp to skin the pilots helmet. I made a backup of original before replacing, but for now its my MARPAT helmet all the time.
Here is my WIP...learning my way around photoshop tonight. Finally! Looking forward to getting into this skinning thing.
Big Accomplishments:
-Got MARPAT to show up on helmet (still need to tweak)
-Got my layered image to still show some panel lines (that was a deal-breaker for me)
*Could NOT have done this if it wasn't for that great tutorial; thanks again!
Two things...what am I doing wrong?
A.) Anyone know a way to keep the flag from duplicating on both sides of the console texture?
B.) My MARPAT helmet texture is not showing up in the game. Fix? The bmp is still 512x512 pixels at 24-bit.

wow, this unfolding scenario is actually pretty close to actual intel-operator training that we run in the military. The interjections really amp up the value of training for all involved. I like what I see here!
Assumed I could rotate in time (even though runway WASN'T clear)....you know what they say about assuming....I landing it on all three. count it?

I'm pretty blown away by the amount of detail put into the pilot's survival gear...I'd know that was a 92FS Berretta, even if I didn't know it was US GI!
