This is what I am getting with NO dome light (instruments/console are illuminated)...seems to be the most realistic solution for the time being. Here is with the white dome light on, works too...but just doesn't satisfy my realism needs. I also fine tune the NVG contrast with a switch on my HOTAS.

turn off the dome light (even the green one), and you can read the instruments under NVGs...that's how I've been doing it.

I have the GamersGate (now sold to Gamefly) version of BS1. BS1 is launched through the Gamefly "app", and somehow I think this is throwing my DCS World/module manager off. In the DCS module manager, when I click "Install" for the BS2:Upgrade (which does show as available), it gives me the error "BS1 must be installed and activated". Then returns me to main DCS World screen. Help please...

yeah, that should help...there's a texture for when the blades are stopped/slow, and one for when the blades are turning at operating RPMs. make sure you paint both, otherwise you will see the default black one engine is turning the blades at higher RPMs.

do you have to have an export to use the Saitek Pro Flight radio stack? I'm thinking about buying that, would like to control radios external from the sim.

also, those gunners need to take the flightsuit legs OUT of the boots. nobody wears a flightsuit with bloused legs. Now, the fuel-handlers/maintainers do wear USMC coveralls (similar) that way, but NOT any aircrew members.

Aravon17...if it makes you feel better, I'm in the exact same boat with you on this. I ALSO was able to use the "resupply mission", but haven't been successful with any of the other ones. I swear, Win8 is one big virus.

UPDATE: Just posted final 1.0 version of the LAPD skin. I'm happy with the results! Was able to include crew textures as well. Be looking for it in the next few days on the file server (pending approval). Just a heads-up, I've been trying to shake the rust off my skinning skills. First up is the LAPD Bell 205 (civilian designation for the UH-1 Huey). Still want to tweak a few minor things. Hopefully I'll have it posted tomorrow. Definitely open to suggestions as well.
