fixed handcontroller not working in version 2.9.6 (Quest 3)

Same here and also can't use HTC Wand, Trackers, Oculus Contorllers. IT IS VERY UPSETTING, that someone release an "update" without a test. I don't belive they tried it in VR and these worked for them. IT IS NOT an UPDATE, IT IS a DONWGRADE (this is a basic function, indipendent from modules, it can be test in main menu!!). I WISH I go back earlier versions! GAME IS UNPLAYABLE! EVEN in ST mode it has been meshed up. In ST MODE the "laser pointer" comes from the bottom of your palm!!!. THIS 2024 UPDATES FAR away from ED quality.... I 'm very dissapointed because earlier(2024) updates also had serial issuses with VR controllers but they don't give a s..t about it. One upon a time there was a company which was in first row in VR implement in simulator and beat MFS and XPlane. No it's gone, they are better...( I can't belive that could be happen..) I stopped updating and don't buy anything from ED till it will be fixed. It seems there is a new business policy: quantity beats quality. (No matter how many early access, unfinished modules there are, they need public more new early acces, unfinshed modules, which creates more and more chaos so they have no time, manpower to keep their ealier set high standard). -

LTE (Loss os Tail Rotor Effectivness) is an issue for EVERY TAIL ROTOR Heli. More things can cause it. One of them Tail Rotor Vortex State (VRS) which is similar to normal VRS- which is also not a heli type issue. At Hungarian Air Police 2 MD500E was lost in last 20 years due to LTE. Last accident happend last year, in sept. Fortunatelly pilots didn't injured (training flight). Offical inspection haven't find any technical issue. (1 st case happened during landing in a sharp right turn, second in hovering at 30 meters above water) Here is a short good video about LTE: Here is the 2nd accident: -

Well I tested it in original mission Marianas - on ready at ramp. As I said it is my opinion, as I feel it. I feel more REAL 1.1 than 1.2 (even if it is more unstable than a real one). The heli beheviour as collective moves turn heli nose is undependent from turbolence because it came from torque. Also a heli (without any stabiliztion system like little bird) in hovering, especially on a few feet or few inch is very unstable even in calm weather. Anyway, I haven't tested it in strong wind? Is it possible the have a LTE (loss of tail rotor effectiveness)? THAT IS A VERY IMPORTANT FACT as IMPORTANT as VORTEX RING (which is ok). (I'm playing with normal(original 0 dead, 100 sat x-y, 0 curves) for pitch and roll, I only set rudder to -10 curve for more response. I use 25 cm goose extender for cyclic which is very important for small moves, I think) Thanks your attension. -

Hi ALL My opinion is 1.1 version far more realistic than 1.2. 1.2 is too stable even for a larger heli. I'm flying MD-902 in real life, and 1.2 is more stable than that one. (I'm not speaking of agility -that is complitly different). In a straight and level flight EVERY heli would turn its nose if you change collective. 1.1 makes it, 1.2 doesn't. In hovering 1.2 so stable,even at a few feet that there is almost no need for stick input. This is the most unstable flying part of helicopter flying. In reality you should make continous small stick, rudder, collective input. 1.1 is a King, 1.2 is an arcade. I hope there would be a newer version - where everyone can change it as his/her wish-. Other improvments in 1.2 are super. THANKS AGAIN FOR THIS AWSOME MOD! -

Thanks for this great mod! I love it. It would be great if we can use it for transporting (1-2 people). Now mission edtor says it has no "emabarking" and "disembarking" abilites. -
Hi I also use FFB MS Sidewinder and love it (modified for extension). You only need to swap axis in FFB settnigs (in every module, ex. F14 is same). I use deadzone : 1 , and curve :10 for pitch and roll. Perfect. Offcourse NO other contolrer should be binded for pitch and roll. Csaba

After latest stable update if game starts in MT mode (default), my index controllers work like an ocolus controller, which is awfull. Buttons couldn't be remaped, also there isn't any 'laser'. Now it is unplayable in vr, some cocpit sw operation pain in the ass.. In controllers menu It shows Oculus -I have no one. If I start game in ST mode everything works fine. Other: in ST mode NVG still full screen in VR -(which is unrealistic), in MT mode it's size and mask ok, but way too noisy. Unfrotunatelly 3DmigotoVR shader (2.23) not works now, but that was perfect as in reallity (adjustable in every aspect). P.s: I fly on MD-902 helicopter in Hungarian Police, I have several hours with NVG. Our NVGs have crystal clear image, you can set its size (how far from eyes, off cours eye distance, focus distance,etc). You can see a candle light from 2 kms, it has automatic brihgtness control.

Hi Same for me. Not even in Apache, but in Mig-21 and the freeware Grinelli's F22. Very sad, beacuse they are unplayable in VR (yeah I could use keyboards or mouse but I hope no one think seriusly..) Meantime other modules work flawesly for me: F-14, freeware Gripen JAS39.

I love Tomcat and its campaigns! Great work, thanks! I think new DCS update messed something, I cannot finish ALPHA STRIKE mission , when MIG-23s come (aprox 40 miles) and I order to engage DCS crash. I play in VR (valve index), GPU RTX3080. I got aprox 240 hours on DCS Tomcat, never had same issue. I haven't played earlier with this campaign. I hope you can find out what cause it. PS: You can make endless campaigns, I would buy it. Thanks
