I keep getting a steamvr critical error with DCS. I can sometimes play for 10 minutes...sometimes 30 but I always get a Steam critical error message and steam vr stops. DCS keeps running but of course I can't see DCS anymore in headset. Running a 3080 with HP Reverb G2 with latest drivers for Windows as well as Nvidia. I have tried changing the Openxr runtime to steamVR and that seemed to help but just now I got another critical error stoppage. Any solutions?

Just getting back into DCS and the A10. Would love to take you up on your offer. I am setting up my new HP G2 VR headset. Once I get that sorted I hope we can fly together!

Hi all, SO I bought the new A10C II and am looking for it in my module manager but don't see it. I owned the old A10C but don't see any way of installing the new one. Help please!

Well I may be out. I did the old Falcon 4 dance back in the day. Not sure I have it in me anymore. It seems like I lost the voodoo doll and the dead chicken I used to throw over my shoulder to make this stuff work.

Is there a command line item to enable multicore...or is it on by default?

This is repeatable on my system. Start a instant mission free flight vegas with A10. Using oculus the sim starts fine first time. If I exit then try same mission again the sim loads I can look around cockpit fine but the pause/break key or escape key does nothing. The overlay screen is also more pixalated.

SO I am trying to get back into this wonderful sim. I am using the fresh install of the 2.5 open beta and using my oculus headset. My problem is finding the warthog .lua file to load. I know how to assign buttons within game. I seem to remember from an earlier version that unless you click on the Joystick field and then load the warthog lua file you may have problems. So the question is ...were is the warthog.lua file? I have looked in all the regular places i.e. user/savedgames...but no joy.

I have a TM warthog and for the life of me I cant find the .LUA file for it. I want to remap a few buttons and I seem to remember if I do that without loading the warthog .lua file it causes problems?

I feel your pain....with limited time it really hurts to spend it all day trying to make things work. Since I do not have the same issue ...sorry I am not of any help. But this forums is a great resource to have and I am sure someone can help.

Man I gotta say i like Vanilla the best. I can appreciate the work that went into making these mods though!

Ok sorry for all the post's...got it sorted. I felt like I was holding the PTT long enough but I guess not. Tried a quick mission and held the PTT for like what felt forever..(2 seconds) ..then wingman menu came up and he did as instructed. Very nice...Thanks Hollywood!! The start Mission does not seem to want to work however. It takes me to a different screen and if I try again it takes me back to original screen...could be voice recognition needs more work.

Quick update I got it to recognize my voice...pretty funny looking log...That is not what i was saying VA!! Now I have the invalid radio problem. I have easy communications on and tried all three radio's...no response from wingman at all In the log it shows me saying "to engage ground targets"

Also should I see a log of what I have said in the VA log window? All I see is the the UHF or VHF mic press and the command VA is listening

Ok so I THINK I have followed all instructions but in the sim I am getting no reponse from atc or wingman. I hear a single beep and a small static then a single beep when I let go of my mic switch. In the VA log it shows no errors but I can't get the comms to work. I am using the warthog HOTAS and if I bind the mic switch to the default setting I get the com's window to appear for a second (the Fkeys) But if I read the instructions correctly I am nt supposed to have those keys bound to anything as VA and VIACOM 2.0 are supposed to take care of that. It has to be a simple brain fart on my part but I do not know were to look.

Old/Newbie here with a kinda dunb/lazy question. New install with both DCS 1.5 and 2.0 installed. As I am trying to relearn this sim and have done the install this...uninstall that dance for more hours than I care to admit.....What is the "for dummies" way to install this voice settup? Is it working well enough with 1.5? I would assume 2.0 maybe not so much? I thank you all for your effort! Unpilot

Looks like a nifty little program...as I relearn this sim I might actually start talking to ATC and my wing-man. Does it work well with DCS 2.0?
