  1. Hi There, I think we've all had the friends that were interested in dipping in to DCS but quickly became overwhelmed with all of the options available and prices of individual modules. If there were a two seat trainer option that was part of the core game, those of use more experienced players could use this to teach basic flight to advance concepts which then becomes the stepping stone to the more advanced modules. For those of us who've flown the multi-crew airplanes you know what a blast this is. It would also be a great tool for existing groups as part of their recruiting/onboarding process and help grow the community as a whole. -Cheeze
  2. Hi Team - In addition to a visible pilot model (which I believe the team is working on) it would be cool if you could also add, or make an option to have the "chart bag" that A-10 pilots drape over the glare shield. 5 Stars if you could customize with patches, etc. Would add some nice visual elements to the environment. Thanks!
  3. More on this - it just appears to be an AM/FM thing. For example, in mission 3 the MDC indicates an FM frequency, but if you set the ARC-210 to AM, it works. Likely a bug with the ARC-210. I am really digging this campaign! Great work BD!
  4. I can confirm. I am also unable to hear Beholder or Hunter 1-1 in M03 and I tried with having the ARC-210 set up with presets, or switching the frequencies manually. Otherwise enjoying it so far. Looking forward to the update.
  5. Plus 10 please ED, this is a huge QoL improvement. Going through the 476th curriculum without this feature is a challenge to say the least. Thanks!
  6. Hi Guys, With the new Rio commands, is it possible to put Jester in a "speed callout mode" like when we're in combat? The reason I ask, is I want to learn the F-14 airshow demo like Snort used to fly, and I have seen F-14 airshow demo vids from the cockpit where the Rio is giving the pilot speed callouts while he's in the box. Could be super cool to be able to do. Thanks, Cheeze
  7. Hi Flappie, Sorry for the VERY late response. What I found out much later was, I reset my Vaicom Pro, and now JTAC works as I expected. Thanks, Cheeze
  8. A follow up - I don't know why I never touched the default gamma before, it's like a new game, everything looks better. I could even make out the stars :). Not saying it wasn't a white knuckle affair, but I was able to get some gas. Major fun! Thanks again!
  9. Hi RustBelt, Thanks for the response. I will try tweaking the gamma. I play in VR, so external lighting isn't a factor :). -Cheeze
  10. Hi Guys, I have been doing some methodical training in the Tomcat to enjoy some of the more mundane aspects of the fighter pilot's life in a Tomcat. While flying the A, and trying to refuel at night, I notice the probe light is EXTREMELY dim, and doesn't seem to illuminate the basket at all. I know there's NVGs, but I have to think it wasn't used in the A until maybe later, like say Kosovo or OEF campaigns. I can't find anything historical on that. Perhaps someone could lend some perspective. Also, is there a consideration to maybe increase the intensity of the probe light? Thanks, Cheeze
  11. Hi Dburne, That was a great tip, thanks I can work things that way, just tested. -Cheeze
  12. Hi Guys, I've been using VAICOM for a while, but new to JTAC operations. I can seem to have the whole conversation with JTAC, except for the initial call up. If I say "Playtime 30 minutes" for example, I get a "waiting for additional input". Other than that it works great. Any tips? Thanks, Cheeze
  13. Yeah, I am pretty sure I did - it works that way with all recipients (ATC, AAR, etc.). Not sure why this part isn't working. I am new to the JTAC thing so I may be missing something. I really appreciate the help!
  14. Hi Flappie, Thanks so much for that. I was able to get it to work with the comms menu. For some reason the VAICOM Pro flow doesn't work the same way. When I try reaching him with Vaicom using the initial "Playtime xx Minutes" call - vaicom states it recognizes the call, but is awaiting additional input. I can't find anywhere in the documentation what that would be. All the videos I see just use that phrase. Do you use Vaicom Pro? Thanks again! Cheeze
  15. Hi Team, Like the title says, I cannot get any JTAC options in either traditional comms menu, or using VAICOM. I initially noticed it trying to fly the LGB training mission for the Harrier. No missions appear to work in either the standard or beta clients. I have tried user created missions, and even built a super simple one in Mission editor. When trying VAICOM, after "Playtime xx minutes" call, it says awaiting additional input. Any ideas? Thanks, Cheeze
