Ok combatace, when I was doing the skin for your Su-33 model I ran into some issues where I was getting errors creating a cdds file like you were getting. I really don't know what those errors mean but I know how I solved the problem. I renamed the files from killermachine******Su-37.bmp to something short and used the utility that I posted to resave the textures in 24bit bmp. It worked for me. I'm assuming cdds maker does not like long filenames or cdds did not like bmp files directly from photoshop.

Also what are your texture sizes? I think there is a max allowed in the game.

If you get an error generating a cdds file and even if your textures can be seen inside the cdds file they will not show up in the game. When I get a problem with bmp files erroring out during a compilation of a cdds file I re-save them in 24bit bmp format using DXTbmp software. You can download it here. Resave the bmp textures in 24 bit format and try again. Also the CDDS builder does not like paths to directories where your textures are with a space in the name.

Thanks EtherealN, yes LWR indeed. So the helmet mounted sight uses a laser ranging system. Can I assume the same applies for the IRST?

I really don't know where to post this but yesterday, while flying an SU-33, I locked up a squaddie flying a KA-50 via my helmet mounted sight and I'm pretty sure my radar was off. His RWR went off and warned him of the lock. I always thought the helmet mounted sight was IR hence not detectable by RWR . Can anyone shed some light on this issue concerning the KA-50?
