  1. I know that ED has said it's coming, but do we have any updates on this? I can't wait to be able to fly from my home state to say the middle east, or to Russia, partake in missions, then fly back home.
  2. Since the F-35 is being made, AESA radar and the like is going to be implemented most likely, we could benefit from the Block 70/72 Viper, I'm positive there's adequate information available for this version to be created.
  3. Yeah, I realize the chance for an XL is worse than a snowball in Hel, but ya can't blame me for trying
  4. That still screams theoretical to me, leaked and incomplete data. Some of the blanks they'll have to fill in, leave some systems out of it, but that's differing opinions, Alright, give the XL block 40 systems, and dogfighting? No, it won't be able to dogfight, but then, the Strike Eagle isn't exceptionally good at it either, but it can sling AMRAAMs probably better than most, and bomb the crap outta stuff.
  5. Right, but we're going theoretical on the JSF, so why not theoretical on the XL?
  6. Not my first post despite the post count, I'm originally Viper1031, for some reason it won't let me access that account. But yeah, sorry, HELLO! HI! How are you?
  7. Since the JSF is on the horizon it's time for these two planes to come back up for consideration. They're using theoretical (I.E publically available) data to create the JSF for us, devs now could do the same exact thing for the XL and Super Hornet. Give the XL the block 50 avionics, tweak the flight model to represent the new airframe, and let it carry the block 50 weapons, the Super Hornet, surely there's some block 2 or 3 data available.
  8. Thanks, just don't wanna see my Viper get left behind
  9. I've noticed very few campaigns for the F-16. There are plenty for the Tomcat, Hornet, and even the P-47. Yet, we have maybe two or three for the Viper? Something's fishy here.
  10. One thing I've not seen yet is the ability for different aircraft to form an element. Say I grab three buddies, and we each fly a different aircraft: One Viper, one Hornet, One JF-17, and one Strike Eagle. Each of these planes are gonna be in their own element, and unable to be added to my wingmen in a MP server. Is there a way to remedy this?

  11. This is still happening, whether it's a button press or an axis. It's a bit of a pain
  12. Since you guys are doing an F-16A for MSFS, it wouldn't be hard for you to turn it into an F-16XL for DCS World, just add the Block 50 cockpit to it, and the block 50 weapons. Heatblur modules are the tip top tier in my book, the Tomcat, the Phantom, so awesome, love flying both of them, a F-16XL from Heatblur would be such an awesome mod. All information is public, and a Super Viper (F-16XL) would be VERY nice to have.
  13. Necromancing this because I'm an XL mark, and want to see it in the sim. PLEASE devs, give us an XL!
  14. Issue self resolved. Can close thread
  15. I know I'm gonna hear a lot of negatives with this, but, here goes: Once the Viper has been brought up to speed with what ED wants to do to it with all the systems, they should add the additional models of the AMRAAM. Regardless of year, the AMRAAM was made for the Viper because the Air Force didn't want it carrying the F-15's Sparrow. The pylon and software for the plane doesn't need changed, just an update to the C5 in a few areas: Range, radar detection, and chaff avoidance. Doesn't matter what year of Viper we have, an AMRAAM is an AMRAAM, and the Viper can fire them.
