  1. They can still design to the maximum of their game engine. If people have a potato for a PC, that is not their or our problem. I've done numerous projects that got cancelled or I never received anything from. Happens more than you think. I also worked on something for a very long time only to have it change mid-development. The comment you've made tells me you are not in the industry. This thread is about the need or want for a Vietnam map, it's request, idea, dream ect. And breath man, just breath. Caps lock isn't going to get your point across. You're taking this way to seriously and way out of context with massive assumptions on your part.
  2. I see you and I came up with almost the same 'averaged' sample. That's pretty cool!
  3. This is a work in progress of the 60th TFS or the US Air Force. They are stationed at Eglin AFB, FL. I'm making a base skin that you can add your own pilot names to and be able to use the number board App in-game. As you can see I have a lot of camo mis-matches. I re-colored the paint scheme using colored sample from photos of various F-15's. I still need to add the inner fin flash of the black bar with the masked out Eagle head.
  4. Can't wait for this one. It's 'The Boeing Company' not Industries. - Manufacturing Engineer, The Boeing Company, 2010 - 2020.
  5. So, far looks like there are 13 A/C in active development or in a released state. There are 9 others that would still need to be made to have a nice 'core' group. There are quite a number of other A/C like the F-111, P-3B, HH-2, Be-12, Mi-4, Mi-6 ect.... What is being done now is more than enough of a reason to build this map. The remaining A/C could be AI assets for mission building. I myself personally would like the OV-10 Bronco because I love the idea of light attack. Which is why the Super Tucano is high on my list of what to buy.
  6. Having an inferior PC should not slow down the development of a game IMO. Instead buying module after module, they should invest in a new PC that can run it. I use a CAD Workstation with a Xeon 6-Core 3.6GHz CPU, 48GB of ECC verified RAM, and a PNY Quadro M5000 8GB GPU and I fly just fine. My PC in ancient by computing standards. *I use this because I am an aerospace tooling engineer. Done.
  7. I loaded up the model viewer but there doesn't seem to be a Shapes model to load for the F-15C? I looked in Core MOD's, MOD's, and Demo MOD's. Two of them have the folder but no model to load. Is it located somewhere else?
  8. So, how do we add a thumbs up to gain access when the text bar is greyed out and blocked? I replied directly to the Night Bot and nothing has happened at all?
  9. "BLACK PONIES"
  10. Wait someone is making this?
  11. Nope added, I thought it was for MSFS like the Hellcat. I wish they'd make a Hellcat for DCS though.
  12. I think this variant of the 109 would be perfect for the Normandy 1944 map. I feel it's a good 'middle ground' model for everyone.

  13. updated description and added links to released or in-work modules.
  14. I think the focus for the next 3 to 5 years concerning maps should be building this. I also think they can reach out to the community to build ground assets and scenery such as huts, buildings, destroyed aircraft/ground vehicles. All of that built to a preset standard of quality and color pallet. The map built that way I think would make it unique and not make look like a cookie cutter map.
  15. Updated map size based on MAXsenna's input.
  16. CANCELLED//
  17. I'll have to bust out my 'Cruise Books and add some new photos in here from the early / mid 90's.
  18. Well you have my "full attention".
  19. True. but most maps from what I read are 300 x 300. There would have to be at least 4 maps that cover the war.
