As I have the same problem, I'll continue here: Changed language in said file (DCS World OpenBeta\Config\lang.cfg) from "DE" to "EN" (Notepad++) and did a "DCS_updater.exe repair" -> got a message of successful repair, but no change of language from german to english in UI. PS: In "DCS World OpenBeta\l10n" still only one folder "de". PPS: Seems the problem was I deleted "CRLF" after "EN" in "lang.cfg". After inserting a new line and repair again it worked.

You are right, in my humble opinion same or similar bugs has not to arise several times - at least testers should be sensitized to some crucial and evident points (FFB trimming, MP stability). Besides that I didn't realize that this development approach is applicable for mass-software - my fault. If it works, good for ED! (yes, yes, and for MS). But the point is: I prefer reasonably finished software.

Thats why I leave long time ago. Sorry, I'm not as forgiving as my previous speaker. Showstoppers after how many years of development? And worse: New introduced showstoppers, and not for the first time. I know this will be deleted, but s.o. will read this and hopefully pass it on: This is simply bad quality management.

Yes, it's because there is a "config/views/snapviews.lua" file in the mission package. You can open the .miz file with your unpack - software (7zip will do, looks like the .miz file is a .rar) and delete that whole folder to get your views back.

Obwohl ich die Idee gut finde, können solche Tools, spätestens beim nächsten Update (von DCS, Teamspeak), immer ein bisschen problematisch sein, oder wie Du ja jetzt oben schreibst im Zusammenspiel mit ganz anderen Tools. Einige von uns benutzen "Helios", da gabs auch schon ein paar Ecken und Kanten bei Updates von DCS. Zwar alles meistens irgend wie lösbar, aber eben nur mit entsprechendem Zeitaufwand, Forenlesen, Anpassen, etc. DCS selbst wird sich auf lange Zeit im Entwicklungsstatus befinden, der nächste Flieger steht ja schon in den Startlöchern. Von daher versuche ich, Fehlerquellen auf meinem System zu minimieren und nur das nötigste in die Sim einzubeziehen (TrackIR, Teamspeak).

Snap Views sind sehr hilfreich.

Is it intended that there are SnapView files in the mission? Problem is if I want to fly the mission my Snap Views are gone. I had a look into the .miz file and saw that there is the "config" folder with "view" folder in it, and inside that a "snapviews.lua" - file. I could imagine that this prevents my custom snapviews from working. I can see no reason to block custom snap views. Apart from that a fine mission, but if we tried to fly the newest version (V2 Multiplayer Beta 4b) in our squadron the server crashed no matter who hosted. The 3b runs fine. Happy new year Max

It's still there and you can bind another key to it. Yes, it's RCtrl - KP0 by default. If you push this combination in the options menu (view "all"), you should be there. If you need some more info about snap views, read about it here (in german). Should be no problem for you, as you're from austria :)
