  2. Hi all. It's been a while since I don't use ME, but I've decided to check the new Sinai upgrade and to my surprise, when in ME, several things look like not working properly. I list them: There is no "combined joined task forces blue" nor red. I can't choose my F-15E module. It appears in gray, not in yellow, in spite of having it installed and functioning I can't choose my TF-51 module, again, having it working properly. I can't choose my FC f-86, nor the F-5, but it's ok with the F-15c and the russians. There are much fewer aircrafts under "USA". (marking mission as "nothing", so in theory every plane should appear) If i choose the, let's say, f-15E, as in gray, it doesn't let me choose "player", but it lets me use "client". Nevertheless, it gives contro to an AI, so I cannot fly it. I checked in different maps and It's the same in all. If I open an already existing mission, the "combined joint task forces" option appear again, but I still have the same problems choosing the planes. All my other official modules work, but not the not official, including the very stable A-4. Does anyone else have any of these issues? I uninstalled private modules, repaired, check every option in the mission editor and it's simply not working. I'd appreciate some enlightening about this problem. Thanks in advance!
  3. Had the same problem the other day. I solved it just by marking kandahar as blue. I'm not sure, but I believe other maps, just by placing a blue plane, or a player's one, become immediately blue, but not Afghanistan (yet?)

  5. Cannot be 100% sure, but I did what you said and it's the first time in a long I was using the GR without it crashing. It may have been the solution. I'll test it more and confirm. Thanks, pals!

  8. Yes, it kept crashing, so I reactivated the mods. Nevertheless, it's not a mods' problem, since it works perfectly until I use the ground radar. I disconnected the SAR scintillations with great hope, keeps on failing. I have 4 cores dedicated. Does it sound like a good number to you? Thanks, draconus.
  9. Hi all a few months ago I had the same problem, which I shared in this post: I changed the pagefile to 32gig as hinted, and the problem stopped happening. Recently I upgraded into windows11 and had to reinstall DCS. I've been flying with different planes (including f-15E), but when I finally used the ground radar scanning, the crashes started again (every single time), I changed the pagefile again, this time to 64 gig, which should be more than enough, but it keeps on happening. I cleansed all the mods: kept on happening. I repaired DCS: same, same. DCS works just fine with everyother plane. It works well with F-15E, as long as I don't scan with the GR. But when I do... Here's my latest log: And another one with half the memory: The fail appears to be EXACTLY the same I had in April, but somehow it stopped happening then and started again now. Any suggestions?   10. You're welcome! But remember to tell them that the only reason why the laucher worked for me on single threading and not in multi threading was because the reshader was only in the bin-mt folder, not in the regular one, ok? Thanks for making this work!

  13. Hey all. I was fighting with the mission editor trying to achieve some (appearingly easy but in fact) absurdly difficult things like embarking some troops in some vehicles, and I came here. I would like to add a few more points to what is already said, based on my experience: 1.- You cannot embark troops in a group where at least one of the vehicles doesn't let you embark. Even when they "supposedly" can. I have a convoy of 9 vehicles (3 hmmwvs),5 APC MRAPS and one ATGM Stryker. All of those vehicles in name can embark troops, but when together in a group the task never appears. When trying, I created a mixed group of one truck M939 and one MRAP and it worked, so I (believe) it's the ATGM stryker. Allegedly it is created for that and it gives you the option, but it's the only type of vehicle of the ones mentioned above in which I never succeded embarking. 2.- As mentioned, you cannot embark a single group of troops, (let's say 20) in a hundred vehicles if none of the vehicles have singledly the capacity of accomodating 20 troops. It's not going to put, let's say, 4 in 5 HMMWVs. If you have a M939 where 30 enter, then they will embark only in that one. And since you can't divide groups, it's a huge pain in the can't remember the name of the part of the body. 3.- What you CAN do is, embark 3 different groups in 3 different vehicles as long as the following requirements are fulfilled: three different waypoints, each one with the AWP task of embarking a different group and the option "distribution" on each one of them, each marking a different vehicle. 4.- Why do the arrows even exist? If you touch them problems start to appear. And they can completely screw the embarking action. 5.- No matter if the vehicle group has further waypoints, once embarked, about 50% of the iterations, somehow decide to go back to waypoint one once they are full of the troops... :S My problem is I am creating the typical rescue mission in which is important how many of the troops survive. Hence, I cannot make them dissappear and put another group because I don't know how many will be (and that changes A LOT in different iterations), and one of the groups are 15, so the only vehicle that can carry them is a truck, but since the group doesn't let me creat the embarking task, I have to make a different truck that appears as a trigget, but then again, in ground vehicles I cannot put the "follow" AWP, so it's a nightmare to coordinate. And yet, I know the topic is about live embarking and so, but I had some fumes to get rid of...

  15. Ok, so I found the problem: it was the reshader dll. That's why it worked on single but not in MT. I upgraded it and everything works sweet now. Thank you Flappy and Tkhaos for your help!
